[E] [Em] [Em]
[A] Well, I kind of got that sound first listening to Mike [Bb] Bloomfield and
[Db] BB King [Cm] does it also
It's basically just in that [Am] sixth chord
BB King plays
[Cm] Right there.
It's kind of major [Am] minor
[C]
[Gm] [C]
[Am] [Cm] major
[F]
[C] [C] [G]
[A] [C]
[Am]
[Em] [Cm] so, you know obviously
[G] [D] That's the minor position [A] that's the minor [G] the same thing down a minor third Mm-hmm
[C] [Cm]
Just play that
[Bb] Is combining major and [A] minor right [G] major six
[Ab] [C]
[Cm] [A] [Am]
[C] [Cm]
[F] [C] [Cm]
So there's nothing special about the way I do it, you know, it's the same as the way everybody else [Eb] does it
It's more just having [N] a sound in your head, you know, if you listen to BB [Eb] King
[G] It's very present in this sound
And Mike Bloomfield again my first guitar hero he exercised that that sound quite a [B] quite a bit as well
You don't hear it all that much in a lot of other players.
You hear a little bit in
Albert Collins is playing [D] and I always liked it because it's a bright kind of happy sound, you know
[Eb]
So I have no [G] particular techniques for how you know, I use them
I think it's just really important to get the sound in your [Eb] head and you know, it's very easy to find on the guitar
[N]
