Van Halen saying that Taylor Swift is just like Eddie Van Halen because she's inspiring a generation
of kids to pick up the guitar just like Eddie Van Halen did?
Now obviously if you don't have that
context it can be pretty enraging as a guitar player to hear those two names mentioned in the
same sentence, but to go further I figured I would compare a couple clips of these two musicians
playing and kind of see if indeed Taylor Swift could be the new Eddie Van Halen.

Okay, so my final thoughts on this.
Obviously I'm joking, this is a response to a clickbait article
and I have my own clickbait title.
It's all in good fun, but in all seriousness there's a big
difference between a pop star making people want to pick up the guitar just because they're popular
and somebody inspiring you to want to play the guitar, which I think is what Van Halen did.
So I
get the sentiment, but _ unfortunately I'm gonna have to disagree with the whole Taylor Swift,
Eddie Van Halen thing.
I appreciate Taylor Swift, I have nothing against the [B] woman. _
