their fingers at a slight angle to the fretboard.
That's the way I play, you know?
With the Lil Wayne technique, you're going to get rid of that thumb.
Yeah, just get rid of it.
Thumbs are for pussies.
And your fingers are going to be at a 90 degree angle with the neck like this.
Absolutely ingenious.
It gives you [Bm] less control over your fingers this way, [N] and it's really hard to bend accurately.
It's absolutely ingenious.
I don't know [Abm] why I never thought about it before.

And when you have a superior finger picking technique like Lil Wayne, who needs a pick anyways?
_ Okay, so the way Lil Wayne holds his guitar, this is very important.
Most people, guitarists hold it the way I'm holding it right now.

But Lil Wayne?
_ [Gm] 90 degree angle with your body.
It's absolutely ingenious.
[B] It makes it so the fretboard is really inaccessible, [N] which is absolutely ingenious.
Because every good guitarist knows control of the fretboard makes no difference.
You don't need it.
You don't need [B] it.
Also, note that for the Lil Wayne technique, you have no regard for on-time playing, and
no regard for consistent picking, and no regard for consistent [N] bends.
So it's absolutely ingenious.
I don't know why I never thought about it before.
