And for those of you who don't know what Deathcore is, Deathcore is a sub-genre of metal which utilizes
down-tuned guitars,
screaming vocals, angry lyrical content, and just an overall
heavy, angry, evil sound.
That's pretty much the selling point of Deathcore.
That's basically what every Deathcore band is going for.
Now,
I wonder what Deathcore would sound like if you changed the scale to make it sound
happy instead of angry.
Or if the music wasn't played with such low tunings, would that affect the heavy sound?
We're gonna find out today.
So I wrote you a normal Deathcore song just to show everyone out there what Deathcore normally sounds like.

but I changed the scale to the major scale to make it sound happy.
And I'm playing it in a higher registry so that we don't get the depth or heaviness that Deathcore usually relies on.
We're gonna see if that affects the heaviness at all.
