Sup guys, it's voodoo979
somebody
commented on my white trash beautiful cover and wanted me to
Kind of show the strumming pattern and stuff.
So I figured I'd go ahead and [B] do that.
So
Do this with them webcam and it really sucks, but anyway
you're gonna have an a minor chord and
[Bm] Basically, the strumming pattern is pretty simple um
[B] You're just gonna have an open a but you're gonna palm you so it's just you're gonna [Am] hit that twice
[B] Once through the whole chord and then a quick little
Up-strum basically catching the last [F#] three strings.
So [Am] it's just
[B]
Then you're gonna switch to a G and you're gonna play the third fret
of the sixth string and
palm [G] mute it and
[Am]
[G] [B] It's this the basic strumming pattern, but I'll show [Bm] it here
[Am]
[G] [Am]
[G] [Bm]
So, I mean it's it's it's a little tricky if you know
[Am]
If you're [Bm] not used to doing the palm muting and like me in between
The
[Am] Strumming I go [B] and I stop
[Am] [Bm] with my
[Am] so [G]
[F#] [A] it's not just [Am] and
[G] [Am]
[G] [Bm]
There's the little intro lick.
He does is just the third fret [F#] of the E string
Play it [E] once and then open
[Bm] third fret of the
B string and then open
[F#] Second fret of the G string open
[G] [Bm] and then
[E] Second fret of the [F#] D second fret of the G.
[Em] So it's just
[Bm] [A] [Am]
[G]
[F#] Now during the course he [B] he plays
an E chord
E minor something like that.
I can't remember exactly which one so he goes from a [Am] minor
[G] G [Am] back to the a month and [E] then which is open E
[B]
A
Second fret of the a [E] second fret of the D and first fret of the G
[E] [B] And he plays it in the same pattern.
It's just that [Am] one, too
[E]
[Bm] so it's just the same pattern through the whole song and
[B] That's basically it for the song
Just you kind of have to play around with the palm [Am] muting and stuff
[G] [B] and if you want to throw a little funk on [Am] you just
[G] [Bm] Kind of play around with your picking and stuff, but that's basically it and I hope this helped if not, I'm sorry
I'm not a very good teacher because I
Learned stuff pretty fast.
So I tend to go faster and I know some people it takes them time to learn it
