Welcome [E] to Flashback Favorites.
I'm Music Mike.
Thanks for joining me again.
As we head back to 1972 to feature some of the great tracks from the LP Climax featuring Sonny Gerasi.
You'll remember Sonny.
He was the lead singer for the Cleveland, Ohio group, The [C] Outsiders.
They had a big [F#] hit in the mid-60s called Time Won't Let Me.
Climax, of course, had that smash hit in 1972 called Precious and Few.
Today, direct from Vinyl, I'm featuring the second single from this LP.
It only made it to number [Em] 52, but it's a great song called Life and Breath.
Here is Climax featuring Sonny Gerasi on lead vocals on [B] Flashback [A] Favorites.

If [D] you believe in dreams and nothing, [A] they'll believe in you.

So [D] day after day, [E] I'm dreaming you'll come back to me.
[A] Because you [D] [E] are life and [A] breath for me.
[D]
[D] All [C#m] that's left of [F#m] me depends [Am] on [G] you.
I'll buy [D] your favorite flowers [A] on the lady down the street.
And hurl it [D] to the corner [B] where we always used to be.
[D] And night after [E] night, I sit and watch the petals [A] fall on you.
[E] Our life [A] and breath for me.
[D] All [C#m] that's left [F#m] of me depends [A] on you.
[G]
They [Em] say [A] I should [D] be forgetting you.
[G] But how can I [D] forget the mountains [G] and the stars?
[D] All the heavens, [G] [Dm] cause they're all [C] just a [B] [D#m] [E] [F#]

[A] lie.
[D] If you believe in love enough, love will never [A] die.
It's what you used to tell me, [B] so I know it's not a lie.
[D] So time after time, [E] I'll come here and I'll wait for [F#m] you.
I guess I'll always wait for you.
[B] Cause you are [E]
[C#] [B] life to [D#m] [E] me.
[F#] All that's left [D#m] of [G#m] me depends [F#] on you.
