[N] Let's take a trip to Canada for a group that was formed there around 1968 in Toronto.
They mixed horns and strings along with modern rock to get what I call a heavy-hitting big band sound.
Their biggest song came in 1971 from this LP [B] called One Fine Morning.
It made it to number 24 [G] that year on the American Hot 100.
[A] And you can still catch it from time to time on classic rock radio.
[Ab] The song we're actually featuring today [E] came out a couple of years later from this LP called Can You Feel It?
A fantastic tune that was [N] again produced by Jimmy Ioner, who also produced some Grand Funk Railroad tunes and The Raspberries.
Here's a song that made it to number 53 in late 1973 from Lighthouse.

[Bb] I [C]
[C] [F] [F]
[Bb] [C]
[F]
[Bb] see [C] you taunting [Am] and in silence I [Dm]
say
[Bb] Pretty lady [C] I love you [Am] but I know there's [Dm] no way
[Bb] That you'd consider [C] my love girl cause you [Am] don't [D] have the time
[Bb] So I try [C] to conceal it so [Am] you can't [D] read my mind
[Gm] I [C]
[Gm] see you smiling [F] too pretty [Gm] lady
And it was [F] the time [C] I had [D] lost you
[Bb] Everyday [C] I keep hoping [Am] that I may [A] see a sight
[Bb] That'll give [C] me a chance girl to [Am] be first [Dm] in your
[Bb] eyes
But I just [C] go on waiting [Am] everyday [Dm] it's the [Bb] same
All my friends [C] keep on saying you're [Am] a fool who [D] loves [Gm] pain
All I wanna [F] do is be your [Gm] lady
I see you smiling [F] too pretty lady
[Gm] So [F] I watch
[D] you
I'm
[Bb] [C]
[F]
[Bb] [C]
[F]
[Bb] beginning [C] to wonder if [Am] you know [Dm] I'm alive
[Bb] Everyday it [C] gets harder to [Am] feel good [Dm] when I rise
[Bb] If I just had [C] the chance girl you [Am] would feel [Dm] what it's like
[Bb] Dreaming of [C] every morning, [Am] every day, [D] every night
[Gm] This is all I wanna [F] do pretty lady
[D] I see you smiling [F] too pretty [G] lady
[Dm] And it was [C] the time I had [D] lost you
Everyday [Gm] I [F] do pretty [Gm] lady
I see you smiling [F] too pretty [D] lady
And it was [F] the time I had [D] lost you
[Gm] [F]
