create a natural harmonic.
[F] Let that ring as long as you want and then we come in with the main intro proper on an
A minor chord, bar 2 of your [Am] tab. _ _ _

_ [E] Take an A minor chord and strum down spreading that chord [Am] out.
_ _ _ [Db] Now a lot of the strumming of this song is just flicks [Abm] up or down catching a couple of
strings, that's key to the sound of the song.
So flick up from the [E] 1st [C] string now, you want to get the 2nd if you get a bit of the 3rd that's fine.
_ [N] Down around the middle of the chord just [Am] a dab and _ _ [E] then the 5th string and again you
may get some of the [A] 4th.
This is the style of Keith Richards' strumming on this, that he gets [Eb] pairs of strings, dabs
of 2 or 3 strings at a time.
Now add the 1st [G] string at the 3rd fret, come up from the 1st string, [Am] _ _ _ 1 and 2 or 1, 2 and
3 [Abm] and then take that finger off and up from the [Am] 1st string. _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ [Abm] Now you'll finish that bar by picking individual notes out of [A] this chord, 3rd string, [Am] 2nd string,
4th string.
_ _ [F] So now we need the rhythm which is going like this.

_ [Am] _ _ _ So _ [C] the rhythm is complicated.
Notice that the 1st of the 3 picked notes is on the uh of 3.

Take the middle finger away and bring the other 2 fingers up to frets 3 and 4.

[Bm] 1, 2, 3, all specifically picked notes.
Now the reason you wanted this fingering is [N] so that this finger remains free, the middle
[Ab] finger free, to add the 6th string at the 4th fret.
Play 6, flick up [Bm] from the 2nd string, get a bit of a 3rd as well and [E] the 1st string probably up.

2 e and [Ab] uh, 3, _ _
[E] 4 and _ _ _ _

Drop into a G chord [Eb] that's out of the F chord shape.
You know your F chord at the 1st fret?
Bring it up 2 frets to frets 3, 4 and 5 and you've got a [Ab] G chord.
He adds to that the 3rd string at the 5th fret with the little finger to create Gsus4.
Play [G] _ 4, [C] 3, [G] 2, 1, 2, 3, 4.
_ Then [Eb] come down, bring in this exact [E] same shape down 2 frets where it [Ab] becomes Fsus4.
Go down on that chord from the 4th [Bb] string, _ [F] then take the little finger [G] away to create
a normal F chord and come down from [F] the 4th string.
_ _ And you'll finish the bar by playing _ 1st string, 2nd string. _ _
