How to Play So Begins the Task by Stephen Stills chords
Start Jamming...
[G] [Bb] [Am]
[G] [C]
[G] [Bb] [Am] [G]
[C] [G] [F]
[C] [G] [Dm] [F]
[C] [G]
This [C] video we're covering [Dm] so begins the task by Stephen [Eb] stills
We started off [C] with a C.
And I think [D] what he's doing is he starts off by pitching the D [C] and the B string
Pitching those two strings on the C and then I just strum the other strings
Minus the sixth string I leave that alone something like this
to [G] achieve
And then [F] I pitch the E and the B string so [C] we go from a C
[G] Sorry, I [G] it also makes sense to pinch the D and the B string
Or you can pinch the E and the B
[N] But I think he's pinching the D and the B string when he's playing the song so it sounds something like this
[G] to be [Bb] a
[A]
[Am] Minor have a minor chord
[G] to a G and
Then we're gonna hammer on
[C] And we'll here we're hammering [Gb] on
It's basically like a C chord [E] those two fingers the first and second finger
They're on the D string in the end the B string
on [C] the second first frets Just hammering
there and together
[G] [Bb] [Am] [G]
[C] [G] [E] when you're going to the a minor you can
[Am] Leave the the G [G] string open [F] or you can hammer on the [A] second fret
[C] And then you could hammer [G] off
Before you go to the G [Ab] sometimes it's difficult for me, so [Am] I just go from the a minor
[G] to the G
And [Gb] that's the verse play that a few times we go to the chorus to [Dm] D minor
Though I think you probably plays it down here
to an F
[F] [Ab] Though I also like playing this F.
I like getting those low notes in there, but I think he plays this version [F] of the F
[C] to see
[G] the G
all together [Dm] E minor
[F] [C] F C
[G] G
second time
[Dm]
[F] [C] Here he really hangs on to the C.
[G] I think
[Ab] He's messing around the [E] C chord
Hammering on with the second finger
second fret on the D string
[Fm] up to the third fret on [C] the D string
back to a G and
[Em] With the G again.
We're [C] hammering on
With the first [F] and second finger on the second first fret of the [C] D and the B string and
