Hey what's up guys my name is Brandon Slavinski and this was one of our awesome requests and
I'd like to hear some more requests but in the meantime we're going to be learning
Matchbox 20's Push.
So we're going to start off with a G then we're doing [D] a D flat F sharp that's where
you take your thumb right here and then [Em] an E minor, sorry I like playing my E minors
like this, but you can play it like that and then a C add two.
[C] So let me show you how to [G] play these chords real quick.
A G is 3 2 3 3 and then the D slash F sharp which is one of my favorite chords it's a cool [F#] transitional chord is 2 with the thumb [Gm] you mute the [D] next string and then it's [A] and then we've got a [D] 2 3 0. The E [Em] minor 2 2 every once in a while I might play mine like that because it just sounds better to me and it's easier and you can play it like that too if you want to it's 2 2 3 3. And then the [C] C add [G] two, see why I play that E minor to the C it's just such an easy transition. So the C add two is mute [C] 3 2 [G] 3 3. Alright and this is the strumming pattern. [D] [Em] [G]
[D] [Em]
[G]
[D] [Em] E minor C [G] G [D] D slash F sharp [Em] E minor C. [G] I don't know [D] why I'd be in bed [E] in E minor. [G] Then the C add two and the G and [D] the going on the half to the [Em] D F sharp E minor and the C. [G] Hard to say all of it at once. C G [D] D [Em] E minor [G] C G [D] D slash F [Em] sharp E minor and then a little bit [D] angry. Well now we're doing a D add nine this is the pre-chorus right here. Alright so you're going to mute 2 3 0. Try and stay on that top end right there too. This ain't over, [G] no not here. You can do that C just like that. Now while I still need you [D] around to the D. Don't hold me while [G] I can't to the C. [D] Yeah we just might feel [G] good. And there we've gotten from the verse to the pre-chorus and now we're going to hit the chorus real hard. It's a G. I wanna [D] push you around to a D [G] and to that C. I [D] will and then back to the D. Alright so that's the first part of the [G] chorus. So I wanna [D] be [G] around C. I [D] will be well [G] I will. G [D] D [G] C [D] D and now for the second part of the chorus we're going E [Em] minor. I [D] want to make you for [G] granted C. [D] Back to the D. [Em] E minor. [D] [C] C. [D] Yeah. I [G] will. And then you go [D] right back into that verse. [Em] You do [G] this twice. [D] [Em] [G]
