Today we're going to learn the standard, Wildwood Flower, played by Mabel Carter and everybody
else after her.
And we're going to learn it in two keys, C and G.
And this song was traditionally done on the dobro with slants.
And a lot of you have a problem with slants and I just want to drive the point home that
wherever there's a slant, there's also a straight bar way of playing that same set of notes.
So we're going to incorporate that much the way Mike Aldridge would have done it.
Not that it's going to sound like Mike Aldridge, but Mike didn't play slants as much as, say,
Josh Graves did before him.
