I studied marketing at the University of Johannesburg until I found out that I was so much in love with clothes
and I transferred to do fashion and design.
And I am not only a gospel singer, but I am a qualified MAC makeup artist.
I began to sing at the age of six [G] and ever since then I've never stopped.

I got my mom in tears [D] and when I looked at her I told myself I was called to do this.

[G] My professional music career [D] started, if I can remember correctly, [Em] three years ago.
And I remember receiving [G] prophecies from different men of God every [Bm] time they came to our local church.

And just for it to be [E] confirmed by my [G] own spiritual father [D] that I was called to be a [Em] minister.
And every time I went to [C] minister in different churches, I [G] would experience God's power [E] in another level.
And ever since then [B] I never regretted giving [A] my life to God and giving my youth to Him.

Why did you decide to do [G] gospel?
And well, for me, it's [D] very simple.
My answer is very simple.

I am [D] currently doing a tour called [B] Overflow Tour, because I released [C] an album recently called [F] Overflow.

And this project is very dear [F] to me because during the [A] process and during the preparations of this album,
I understood [E] what worship was all about.
[Em] We don't worship God for the things that He's done.
We [D] worship Him for who He is.
That means [C] regardless what we go through, He remains God and He deserves our worship.
Our [F] problems don't change God's identity, but God is [G] able to change the identity of our problems.
So [Em] Overflow is [D] just a blessing for me.
[E] And ever since then, ever [A] since I released this album, [Em] I went, I [Am] passed through doors that I never [D] imagined I would [C] ever pass through.
[G] One of the things that I really, really believe in music, [F] especially in the kingdom of God,
[E] is that if it isn't really based on [A] the word of God, then it shouldn't be called gospel.
And the aim is to [Am] spread God's love, not only to the [G] believers, but to the non-believers too, because God is love.
