Hello guys, this is Amosdoll Music and in [G#m] today's lesson I'm going to teach you how to play
[G] What's New Scooby-Doo theme song.
So here we go.
Give you a preview of the main theme you're going to learn in today's lesson.
It goes like this.
[A#m]
[C#] [Fm] [C#] [Fm]
[A#m] [D#] [F#]
[C#] [G#]
[C#] And then you can repeat it.
[F#]
[G#]
[C#] [D#]
[F#] [G#] [C#]
[G] Okay, so let's get right into it, okay?
So here we go.
Okay, so let's break it into parts, it's easier to learn.
We'll break it up into, let's say, two parts, alright?
Okay, first part goes [F] like this.
Right hand starts on the E flat here, middle C is here for reference, go up an octave to the C.
E flat right here.
So it goes E flat F, E flat [A#m] F, B flat.
[Em] Down to [F] A flat, up to F, [A#] F, [G] [D#] E flat, D [Fm] flat, C.
Down [C#] to A flat, D [F] flat, E flat, F, F, E [C#m] flat, D flat, [A#] down to B flat.
And [Em] that's it for the right hand for the first part.
Let's do it again.
So it goes like this, so it [G#m] goes E flat F, E flat F, [C#] D flat.
A flat F, F, E flat, D flat, [Am] C.
[A] A flat, D [E] flat, E flat, [F#] F, [A#] F, [D#]
[A#m] E flat, D flat, [A#] B flat.
And that's [N] it for the right hand for the first part.
Once you get the right hand for the first part, left hand we have four chords here.
The four chords are G flat [F#] major, which is G flat, B flat, D flat.
[D#m] Second chord is A [G#] flat major, which is A flat, C, E flat.
Third [G] chord is D flat major, [C#] which is D flat, F, A flat.
[Fm] And the fourth chord is E flat major, which [D#] is E flat, G, B flat.
[G] Okay, so with these four chords in [F#] mind, so G flat major, [G#] A flat major,
[C#] D flat major, [D#] and E flat major.
[F] The turn together goes [D#] like this, so right hand starts,
[A#m] D flat and D flat major [F#] together, right hand [C#] continues, C and A flat [G#] major together.
[C#] After [Em] F, D flat major by [C#] itself, [A#m]
[F] after B flat, E flat [D#] major by itself.
[Em] And that's it for this first part.
One more [F] time, it goes [F#] here, [C#] [G#] here, [C#]
here, [A#m] [D#] here.
Okay, so that's that.
Moving on to the second and last part of this theme, right hand continues, it goes
E flat, F, [C#] E flat, F, D flat, A flat, F, F, E flat, [G#] D flat, C.
And then E flat, F, E flat, [C#] F, and then D flat, that's it for the right hand.
[F]
One more time, goes like this, so goes E flat, F, E flat, [C#] F, D flat,
down to A flat, F, F, E flat, D flat, [Fm] C, [Cm] and then [A#m] E flat, F, E flat, F, D flat,
[C#] that's it for the right hand.
Once you get the right hand there, left hand, three chords.
The three chords are G flat [F#] major, which is D flat, B flat, D flat.
Second chord, A flat [G#] major, which is A flat, C, E flat.
[C] And third [A] chord, D flat major, [C#] which is D flat, F, A flat.
So [F#] with these three chords in mind, so G flat major, [Fm] A flat major, and D flat major,
[F] the turn together goes like this.
The right hand starts, D flat and D [F#] flat major together.
C and A [G#] flat major together.
[Fm] And right hand continues.
And then D flat major [C#] by itself.
And then right hand comes in.
And that's it.
[G#m] So one more time, it goes
[F#] together, [C#] [G#] together, [C#] here.
That's it.
[E] So back to back the two parts we've learned in this lesson,
we'll be playing like this.
Check it out.
So it [F] goes, [F#] [C#] [G#]
[C#] [D#]
[C#] [F#] [C#]
[Fm] [C#]
yeah.
[Em] So once you've got the melody and chords of this correct, all the notes and rhythm,
then you can start to think of other improvisation and decoration patterns
to put into it to make it more awesome.
[N] Okay, left hand you can do like octave and arpeggio [A#] patterns.
And right hand can harmonize based on the chords [F] too.
So you can be like, do something like this.
[F#]
[G#] [C#] [D#]
[F#]
[G#] [C#]
[F#] [G#]
[C#]
[D#] [F#]
[G#] [C#]
[E] Yeah, play around with this, pretty awesome.
Okay, but anyway, that's pretty much it.
