Hey guys, I'm here with my student Zia Mara Crystal.
How do you spell that again, by the way?

And we're gonna take on a Bon Jovi piece, Wanted Dead or Alive.
Now I have my version on YouTube, but we decided to do a female version.
We're gonna do what we always do.
We're gonna do it first, we're gonna talk about it after, and if you're ready to rock this, let's do it.
Alright.
Bon Jovi, Wanted Dead or Alive.
You're gonna be Wanted Dead or Alive.

Cool.
Alright, well, here we have another excellent vocal [N] demonstration.
Now, the difference of the last tune, we just did, what was the last tune we did?
Aerosmith, Air Crime.
That's right.
And we took on a Stephen Teller piece, so there was a little bit of vocal tambour in that.
This is more about telling a story, which is actually really cool, and it's kind of slowing things down a little bit.
Now, WANTED!
You know, there's like the middle America country thing going on there too, which we love.
But the other thing about this that's really interesting, and correct me if I'm wrong,
if you were to think about the difference between Jon Bon Jovi and Stephen Teller, what would that be?
To put you on the spot.
Ooh.
I think Jon Bon Jovi is more of a storyteller.
Maybe in the sense that it's slower, more landward in how he explains songs, and yeah.
Cool.
And that's exactly what I would say.
So, you're dealing with more of a singer-songwriter.
A singer-songwriter, exactly.
In the case of Jon Bon Jovi.
So you're not worrying so much about all the crazy, hard, difficult licks of someone like a Stephen Teller,
you're more worried about the story and telling the story.
That's not to say that Stephen Teller doesn't tell the story.
Exactly.
The other thing is too, by the way, we cover all this in my singing course, How to Sing Better Than Anyone Else.
If you guys are interested, you can click here and check it out.
And you join our singers' forum.
There's been over almost 7,000 people in there right now discussing how to sing better than anyone else.
And we've got people like Zio, who's doing the master's course.
She's been doing it over about a year and a half right now.
Something like that, right?
A little over a year.
A few months.
It's only been about a month. Since May.
Okay, cool.
She's thrown down really hard in about six months, six or seven months, which is awesome.
She flew to California to do the course, and then she flew to Hawaii again to finish her apprenticeship program to get this stuff done.
So if you guys are interested, you can check out KenTamplinVocalAcademy.com.
And we appreciate having you, and until next time, rock and roll.
Rock on!
Peace.
