I'm Ty Siegel and this is what's in my bag.
Uh, yeah.
[C#]
I [G#m] got a Snakefinger [E] single.
He was a guitar player [C] that played with the residents.
[D] Snakefinger is the only one, [Am] the only member that was not masked.
That's [B] Snakefinger.
It's really cool.
[Am] And when he [Dm] dies, [Em] to [A] his surprise
[E] This is Frank Zappa, Hot Rats.
This is one of my favorite records.
I already have it, but [D] it's so cheap.
I think I'm going to give it to my girlfriend.
[A] There's my favorite [D] Zappa song on here.
Willie the Pimp, it's with Captain B [A]-Pop.
I'm a little pimp with my hair a gas bomb.
[Am] Can't take it past with my [Am] shoes on.
[A] It's the most rock [Dm] of his early records.
It's just great.
[D] Zappa's my favorite.
[Em] I'm embarrassed to say I've never heard much Bauhaus,
but my good friend Emily says this is the one [D#] to get.
The beautiful [Em] town of [D#] Rage
Going [Em] to hell again
[D#] Going [Em] to hell again
[C#] [E] And it was so cheap that I [A] thought I'd get it.
[F#] This is the second Swell Maps record.
I'm a huge fan of the first record.
I just heard this a week ago, and they just reissued these.
[A]
[B] [B] [F#]
[A] [B] I just heard this, and it's insane.
[F#] It's amazing, so [E] I had to get that one.
[F#] This is the West Coast Pop Art [E] Experimental Band.
My buddy Dwyer turned me on to this.
Just a great psych, pop, [E] weirdo band.
She's the earth
And the other desert forest
They just [A#] write really [E] great songs.
I just want [D] to get into them more.
This is the Dicks.
[A#] I've only heard Kill From the Heart
[C] and [Dm] Dicks Hate the Police, but those are just two [F] classic songs.
[A#] It's a [C] fun because [D] it's true
[A#] You [C] can't find nothing here
[D]
[Dm] All these records are coming out now that used to be like, you know,
40, [A#] 50 dollar records when you'd see them, [D] so it's pretty cool.
[D#] This is the fun of the day.
[F#] Deviants.
[F] I've been looking for this record for years.
They're just, again, another [G#] freak rock band.
[D] But this record's great.
It's kind of like the Fugs [F] if they were psych rock.
Yeah, I never thought I'd see.
I never thought they would reissue this.
I had to catch [A] up on some birds.
The Dylan covers on here [E] are so good.
All I Really Want To Do.
[A] This is so good.
[D]
[F#m] [Bm] This is another [C#m] gift.
I love this record, The Flying Lizards.
They're that [E] band that I think they're most well known for that cover of Money.
[G]
[G#m] [F] [C]
[N] That's great.
But this whole record's great.
Again, more weird rock and roll.
[G] And I've never gotten around to buying [G] this because it's on the [C] pricier side,
but this is the first TV Personalities record.
[G] It's just a classic, you [C] know.
One of those records that you just kind [D] of, for me growing up and kind of downloading music and stuff,
I just had this on a Burns CD for a long [E] time.
So it's great to get it on vinyl.
Also one of those records, I'm a freak, and there's certain records that I just wait to see the original of.
I'm [G] one of those guys, man.
Hey, there's nothing wrong with that.
But I was waiting to see this.
I can't [A] wait any longer.
This is the last [F] one.
I don't know if you've heard Pete Townsend.
It's like the demos for all the Who records.
And it's funny because I feel like people just pass this [F#] up because it looks really bad.
It's a horrible cover.
I mean, Pete's made [C] some weird decisions in his [D] life.
[A] But this stuff is so good.
It's just Pete playing [D] drums and bass, guitar, singing, playing everything in his room.
There [Dm] lives a truck chief.
Hello, hello.
[Dm] It's usually under five bucks.
There's five of these over there.
You should [C#] go get one.
Awesome, Ty.
Well, thanks for your time and coming in today and talking to us.
Thanks, man.
This is awesome.
