Hi, my name is Daniel Ho and I've been playing the silent guitar for [F#] about 13 [B] years now.
[C#m]
[F#] [C#m] [B] What's most amazing [F#] about this [B] instrument is it has the SRT-powered system.

[E] [B] This instrument has an amazing palette of sounds.
It [E] has a piezo pickup, which is a [B] sensor right under the bridge,
[E] and [B] also the SRT-powered system, which is an emulation of the acoustic body of a guitar.
It has a knob here where you can blend the [F#] piezo [B] pickup [F#] with the [D#m] SRT sound.
[E] Here's an example of the piezo [F#] pickup [B] sound, [F#]

Another option that you have here is it has a three-position effect knob.
Reverb 1 is a room reverb, which sounds like this.
[F#]
[D#m] [C#]
[F#] [G#]
[F#]
Reverb 2 is a hall, which is great for solo guitar playing.

And the third effect is a beautiful chorus, which gives you that nice wide effected sound.

And for the effects, you can actually dial in how much you want from very little to a lot.
[F#] For example, with the hall, here's just a touch of reverb,

[C] and here's a lot.

[Gm] This instrument is incredibly comfortable to play, and if you forget your tuner, it has a tuner built right into the instrument.
This guitar also comes with an auxiliary input, which allows you to plug in an iPod or CD player to practice along with.
And it has a volume knob, so you can control the balance between your guitar and the music you're listening to.
[Bm] I just plug my headphones into this jack, and I have full volume, beautiful guitar tone.
So I would be practicing at midnight or 1 o'clock in the morning before a show, running over parts with headphones on.
It's pretty wonderful.
And as it is true for all Yamaha instruments, the intonation is absolutely perfect.
So you can play anywhere on the neck,
[F#] [B]
[F#]
[B]
and the pitch is always right on.
[G#] When you hit the stage, it's even more amazing, because [C#] you can get a nice full [G#] sound, all the low end you [D#] want, and it won't feed back.
