So basically what was happening for me was guys like John 5, unbelievable musician.
He's listening to a lot of country and developing that style and technique.
My dad plays a lot of country, very good country player.
[E] And so I thought, you know, these guys are doing that, I'm going to [Dm] do that too.
[Am] I didn't fall in love with the actual techniques and playing that,
and it kind of discouraged me a little bit.
And then I found Gypsy Jazz, or I re-found it, because I used to [Em] love listening to it,
but it just seemed [D] like a very unattainable [A] art [D] form.
[Am] But different things can add, and [Dm] I found the [A] techniques, the [E] scales,
[Abm] [Am] just the whole [A] [B] nuance, the [F] detail about it to be very useful.
[E] So these [Bbm] guys, like Django [Ab] Reinhardt, stud of [A] the earth,
[E] [Gbm] [E] developed this [Am] rhythm style called LaPomp,
and they'd play [D] to emulate [E] the big bands and stuff.
