We thank [Am] thee for actives of our [D] limbs.
We [C] thank thee for the Holy Spirit [G] that has been [C] with us.
And guiding us along this life's way.
[G] We heavenly [C] Father, we are children of our [G] King.
And [C] you are our Father.
And we are leaning [F] and depending [C] upon your word.
Every day, Father, we can't help but thanking you.
For letting us see the early sunrise this morning.
We thank you [G] for health and [C] strength.
Yet we are beggars at your [F] feet.
[C] Asking that thou would heal our bodies of all [F#] these mean [G] diseases.
We ask thee heavenly Father to give [G#] us [F] strength.
[C] Through every day of our lives.
We [G] ask you [Em] heavenly Master [Gm] _
to look in the hospital.
[C] Look [F] on those who are suffering in pains.
Look on the bereaved [Am] families everywhere.
_ [F] Wherever [C] they are today, lift their [E] burdens.
[Am] Give them strength.
[Dm] Let them know that thou art, [D] thou God.
[C] And a God of the nation.
The [G] nation needs you.
[C] The world needs you.
We need you in every walk of life.
Our thanks to you this day [G] for [C] this great opportunity.
That thou [F] has given unto us.
[C] We ask now Father that you would not leave us in a time like this.
We ask that thou would [G] look on [C] us, lead us, hold us [G] in the hollow of your own [C] hand.
When our way gets [F] hard, we [C] ask that thou would not leave us, but come on [F#] close to us.
[G] Help us to bear our burdens.
[C] Help us to lead thy people that they may be [B] led in the [F] right direction.
[Gm] When the storm of [C] life is dashing around [F] us, we ask thee to calm the storm.
[G] And [F] shine a light in [C] every dark place that we might see.
We are pilgrim travelers feeling our [E] way through a dark world.
Sometimes [Am] we are right and [D] sometimes we are [C] wrong.
But you are so loving and kind to us.
[G] When we are wrong, [C] you wait on us until we get right.
And when we are right, Heavenly Father, you will [G] glorify us [C] and bless us.
Now Heavenly Master, [F] when this [C]
time and toiling, the days are over in this life,
we ask that [G] thou [C] would meet us at the river.
[G] Shape your word [C] as a vessel.
Let our [F] souls step on board [C] as passengers.
And cross us [Am] over into [G] another world where we can live [C] out the ages through eternity.
