I did which was probably less helpful than I hoped
_ _ What I'll do is I'll show you how to do the alternating thumb pattern that I use
Once through and then I'll try and play it through again with the finger plucks _
Inserted and I'll try and explain what it is.

I'm going to play through the
Each of the chords in the intro to the song
I'll play it through a few times in a row get at least once right okay [Bb] the

starts off the finger pick on the G string
But then it's the alternating [B] thumb and then the only strings you're going to be finger picking are the B and high E
So it'll go _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
and then you switch to a minor
with a hammer on [Cm] _ _ _ _ _
on the a DG on the B string and _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ again, you just finger picking the B and high E string and then the d7 does the same hammer on with [Eb] the
War finger on the B string and [F] it's going to be

_ _ _ _ _ So halfway through [B] I'm lifting the [Gb] lift my ring finger off that high E string and I'm putting it back down again, [F] so it's _ _ _

[Cm] _ _ [F] _ _ _ And then I do it for whatever reason I do it _ between
[D] these chords I
Double plot the D bass string, and I don't know why I do that.
It's just the way I learned it

You're lifting up and putting down on [B] that bottom at the high E string [Dm]
and _ _ _ _ _ _ _

before shifting to [Eb] C _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ so again [Bb] with the SC you're just [Eb] I guess B and high E and
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ then you're gonna go to G and you're gonna be finger picking the
_ G and B strings, so you're you're [F] leaving off that high E this time

and then you're gonna shift to D for [Eb] the final chord and
it's the same thing the G and B strings you leave out the [C] E string for your finger picking and

But when you're when you're singing and you're you're singing the verse you you don't do the

_ _ _ Just [B] simplify it [Bb] so any pattern any alternating thumb pattern would work.
Just let me less less detailed

Think that's basically all there is to the song any alternating thumb pattern will work and you don't have to worry about that
_ thing that I do you can just keep the alternating thumb pattern going any way you want and
Like I say when you're singing the [Bb] sing in the verse
Simplify [Cm] it and any any kind of pattern will work, but keep doing this
