[E] [B] [E]
[Abm] [E] [G] This is the guitar lesson for Leonard Skinner, it's Mr.
Banker from [Bb] GuitarMadeEasy.com.
Alright, first things [Ab] first, make sure your guitar is in standard [E] E tuning.
And this [G] is a really fun song to play, I [Bb] love it, it's fun to have your friends solo over you [G] as you play this chord progression.
It's the same thing over and over again, I'll show you how to do it [C] once through and then you can mess around with it [N] as much as you want.
So we'll go very slowly, piece by piece, until we get through it.
So it goes like this, it starts [E] off and goes
[Abm]
[E] [Eb] Okay, one more time really [E] slow.
So, [B] [E]
[B] on the D string at the second fret.
Okay, [Em] so, the [E] [B] next part is this.
[Bb] [B] Okay, so we [A] have A, [Bb] Bb, [B] then B.
[N] And what I do here is I make like a B7, and I'm hammering on my pinky on the, what is that, the fourth fret B string, okay?
So we [A] go
[Bm]
[B] [A] Alright, so A, Bb, [B] B.
[G] And now I make [F] this, it's like a [B] B7.
And when I strum through it, I'm kind of arpeggiating the strings.
[N] And I hammer on my pinky on that fourth fret B string.
And now I do this, I go
I make a B, but I take my pinky and I put that on the fifth fret E string, okay?
Okay, I want that little, that note to ring [B] in there, okay?
So I go
[Fm] So, once again, from the [B] B7 it goes
[Bb] Alright, now [Em] we go to the next part.
[E]
So, second fret on D, [G] bend the [E] third, and then open.
And [G] that bending the third and open is on E, okay?
[E] And that leads us into this [Ab] part.
[Db] [E] Okay, [Ab] so slide up to the fourth on [B] E, second on A, [E] fourth on A, second on [Gb] D.
Bend it and bring it [E] back.
And then second on D again.
So
[Gb] And [E] then we go second, [A] third, fourth, fifth on E.
And then we pluck the A open.
[C] And now we go
[G] We do a little hammer on [F] with our pointer finger and our middle finger on the first and second [C] fret of the B string.
[A]
So
[C] Alright, let's see what we've learned so far.
So, so far we [E] have
[E]
[A] [Bm] [B]
[E] [Gb] [Ab]
[Am] [A] Alright
Now the next chord we do is an A, but we take our ring finger and put that on the third fret E string and we strum it twice.
And I actually strum it once and then I pluck the A, [G] and then I strum it again, okay?
And now back to [E] our
Second fret [G] on the D string, third fret bending on the E string, [E] and then pluck it open, okay?
[Em] So
[E] [Ab] Okay, [Dbm] so
You've seen that [E] before.
[B] You've seen that before too.
[F] Should be all familiar.
And now this last part's a little bit different.
[Em] It goes
[E] That part's the same, but we [B] go
[E]
[Db] [E] [B]
[N] Starting all over again, okay?
So we go, for that last [Gb] part
[E]
[B] [E]
Okay, one more time.
[Db]
[Gb] [G] That second fret you should have been [Ab] in there, I hit that on accident.
[E] Okay.
[G] And now we go
[E] [B]
Okay.
And I have a B7 [Em] right there as well, [B] and
[Abm] What I did was I did a little walk-up [A] into it, so I went open [Bb] A, first fret [B] A, second fret A, and then I made a B7, and I just arpeggiate through it.
[G] And then I go back to bending the E, and then it takes me [E] right back into the verse.
[Abm] [E] [Bm]
[B] [E]
[Gb] [Am] [A]
[Em] [E]
[Bm] [B] [Em]
[Ab] [Db] [E]
[B] [G] Alright, you get the idea.
Play [N] that over and over and over again with your friends, and it's fun to have your friends solo over it.
Or if your friend plays it, you can solo over it, and you can get good at your soloing, okay?
Listen to the track, it's a great track, one of my favorite Leonard Skinner songs.
