[N] Dear [F] YouTube community, in the next video I will [B] show you a typical A minor gypsy swing [Am] arpeggio.
So now I will [E] show you how to play [Bb] this lick.
So [C] we need the first finger on [B] the 9th fret G string,
the second finger on the 10th fret D,
and the fourth finger on the 12th fret [G] A string.
Then I play with the [B] right hand the sweeping, just [Am] downs, A, D and G string.
And then I continue, I play the same [Bb] notes, different octaves.
So we start here [F] with the third finger on the 14th fret G string,
with [Eb] the [Bb] second finger 13th fret [A] B, and first finger 12th fret high E.
[Am] And we do [A] the same sweeping again with the [Am] right hand.
And [B] we end on the 17th fret with the fourth finger, also with a [Am] down.
Then I play a thrill with the first and second finger.
[Bb] So it's 12, 13, 12 [F] on the high E [Am] string.
[A]
And this is the ending, [F] so we have 13th fret with [B] the second finger [D] on the B string.
Then [B] we have the third finger [Gb] on the [A] 14th fret [F] G,
and [A] again second finger 14th fret [C] D string, just with downs.
[A]
So the whole thing.
[Am]
So this is a typical lick that you can use [A] on a lot of gypsy swing [C] standards.
We have of course more licks and [G] arpeggios in our Academy.
And [Bb] if you join our newsletter, we will send you another lick that you can try at home.
