[G] Yeah, that was a little preview of our next lesson, Nuage by the great Django Reinhardt.
And we asked you [F] to vote what will be the next lesson and this was your choice, Nuage.
We had, let's say, it was the most popular song when we asked you what will be next.
[E]
And after that we have Django's Tiger and Autumn Leaves.
So these are the next songs that we will prepare for you.
And a lot of people asked me when we talk about the Gypsy Guitar Academy, how we teach at the Gypsy Guitar Academy.
So the thing that you saw in the beginning, that was just two A parts and a B part.
So we have a lot more.
So we have like three videos just for the melody of Nuage.
And I will show you everything note by note.
Here is a little example.
So I would start like this.
So we use the first finger for the second fret B string.
And we start with a rake.
So [Db] we play with a down or let's say it's like a down sweeping.
But the E, [G] A, D and G [Db] string, they must be muted.
And we mute them with the left hand.
So that means the thumb maybe mutes the low E and the second and third finger the A, D and G string.
So that we have the sweeping but we just hear the note that we have on the fretboard.
So with the first finger the second fret on the B string.
After that we play with [A] the second finger the third fret on the B string.
[D]
Then we [Am] have a glissando.
And we want to reach the tenth fret on the B string [A] with the third finger.
We continue with the [Ab] second finger, ninth fret.
Then we have a throw [Gm] with first and second finger [Gb] 8, 9, 8 on the B string.
We continue with the seventh fret also with the first finger and [F] we end on the sixth fret with the first finger.
We [Ab] play everything with downs.
So that's just a little example how we teach here at the Academy.
So really slow and we show the whole thing, the whole structure [G]
note by note.
We also take care on the rhythm guitar of New Age.
So there is one video where I just play like a backing track with the chords of New Age.
[Bbm] [Eb] [A]
[D] [Em]
[Am] [Bbm] [G]
[Bbm]
This is just an example.
Of course we show you the whole structure and then there is another video where we'll talk about the technique left and right hand.
And I will tell you of course the fingering positions of all the chords.
For example we start with a B flat minor 7 chord.
So first we need the second finger on the sixth fret low E.
[Bb] [A] We also mute with the second finger [Ab] A string.
Then we use the third finger for the sixth fret on the D, G and B string.
So we play a [Db] bar with the third finger [F] and we also mute [Bbm] the high E with the third finger.
[Ab]
You can use the rhythm guitar track also to [Bbm] practice the melody [Gm] and you can [A] also use my melody to practice the rhythm guitar.
[G] That's what we call the Play with Jojo videos.
[B] [Em] All these things [Bm] are online [E] next month, [Bb] New Age.
After [A] that, like I told you before, we have Jungle's Tiger and Autumn Leaves because these [D] three songs had the most [Em] voting.
[Eb] For [Gb] [E] all the people who are already members, I hope you [Am] will enjoy the new lessons.
And [Ab] for all the other people who are not [Em] members until now, I hope you are interested now to join us.
[B] To be honest, [Gm] not just the three [Em] next lessons are great.
We have already more than 25 hours of [F] material online [Em] and I think you will really enjoy what we uploaded [E] until now.
It [C] would be great [Am] to see you and meet you [Gb] here at our Gypsy Guitar [G] Academy.
