[A] One, two, [Eb] three.
[E] [G]
[A] [D]
[Ab] [D]
[A]
So I'm going to play pretty much the same thing as I just played.
[Am]
[Dm] [G] It's like I'm singing to you, but I have no lyrics.
[Dm]
[A] So I'm still in A, I haven't played a lot of licks or anything,
but it sounds like music.
[Eb] [E] I'm going to imitate that exactly.
[D]
[A] [Am]
[A] [E] [Em] I'll play one more, new theme now.
[A]
[D] [Ab] Hear the space I left there?
I didn't [A] just play again.
[Am]
[Dm] [D]
[G] [Dm]
[A]
[Dm] [Am] [E]
[Dm] [G]
[Ab] [A] [Eb] [D]
[D] [Db]
[Dm] [A] When I was 14 years [Dm] old, [Am] that was the [D] first time I heard Joe Pass
[B] on the radio [D] playing [Gb] guitar.
[G] And it was an album called Moment [Am] of Truth
with the Gerald Wilson [G] Big Band featuring Joe Pass.
[Am] [Gb] I had never heard guitar [Am] played like that in my life.
You know, 14 [Gm] years old.
So I ordered [G] the album, started trying to imitate and learn
some of the things that I was liking about Joe's playing.
[A] And when I [Ab] was 16, [G] I had [A] my own car, finally, I could drive.
[E] And I actually got Joe Pass' phone number out of the Union Book
and called him because somebody had told me that they thought
he gave guitar lessons
