with the Gerald Wilson [G] Big Band featuring Joe Pass.

You know, 14 [Gm] years old.
So I ordered [G] the album, started trying to imitate and learn
some of the things that I was liking about Joe's playing.
[A] And when I [Ab] was 16, [G] I had [A] my own car, finally, I could drive. _
[E] And I actually got Joe Pass' phone number out of the Union Book
and called him because somebody had told me that they thought
he gave guitar lessons
