And we [C] savage hands _ of [Bb] unscrupulous men, we fight everything [F] that passes by.
Time is [C] running out, _ as we [Bb] eat and drink, pieces at the brink of being [F] extinct. _

I've already [C] seen _ this would [Bb] have come divided between race, color, creed [F] and class.
And some [C] of the things _ the scripture [Bb] _ predicts, how a truth will [F] come to pass.
So that will [C] be _ _ children [Bb] making children to be a part of [F] this growing mass.
_ And [C] I ask, if this [Bb] is progress, Lord, how long would it [F] last?

[Bb] I see a frightening [Gm] humanity, [Bb] a sad and confused society.

_ In [F] time to come, can this world [C] withstand [B] this constant [Bb] misuse and abuse by the [F] hands of man?
