Alright guys, this is Eamonn Stoll Music and in today's lesson I'm going to teach you how to play this song called Robbery by Juice WRLD.
So I'll be teaching you that very nice piano instrumental [Em] loop that plays throughout the song.
It's pretty nice, it goes like this.
I'll give you a preview, check it out.
[D] [A] [Em] [D]
[A] [C#m] [G] Anyway, let's get right into it.
So melody and chords, here we go.
First part, we'll break it up into two parts so it's easy to learn.
So first part starts on the B up here.
So middle C is here for reference.
So go up an octave to this C, go up to the B right here, that's where we start.
So B, down to [E] the octave below B, up to F sharp, E, and then up to the octave above [N] E, and then F sharp,
and then more than an octave [Gm] down to the D.
And [Em] that's it for the first part, okay?
So quite jumpy, okay?
So that's one of the things that might be difficult for you guys who are just starting the piano
because of the big jumps, you just really have to remember the positionings.
Anyway, one more time.
So B, octave below B, up to F sharp, E, octave above [D] E, F sharp,
[Dm] and then back down to the lower D, which is like a tenth below that F [A#] sharp.
So there's some pretty big jumps, [B] you've got to practice that, okay?
[Bm] So, [Em] [D] like that.
[F] Quite a lot of jumps.
So that's it for the right hand.
Left hand, we have [G] two chords here.
The two chords are G major, which is G, B, D.
Fully white note chord.
Second [Em] chord is second inversion of D [D] major, which is A, D, F sharp.
Alright, so [G] with these two chords in mind, so G major followed by second inversion of [D] D major.
Two hands together, it [F] goes like this.
So B and G major [G] together.
[Em] And then the D and [D] the chord together.
Like that.
[G] One more time.
It goes together.
[Em] [D] [F#m] Alright, so if you want to know the rhythm, [G] it goes like this.
So, one, two, [Em] three, [D] four.
[Bm] Just like that, okay?
[G] One more time, slowly.
So it goes one, [Em] two, three, [D] four.
And that's it.
So remember that.
[G] Okay?
So once you get that, let's move on now to the second part.
Right hand goes up to the octave above D, [A#] down to A, [Bm] down to F [Em] sharp, E,
and then once again up to the [N] high octave above E, F sharp,
and then more than octave [Bm] jump down to the lower B.
So yeah.
Once again, it's like a big jump.
Just like how the first part, that big jump from the F sharp to D,
this one is even harder.
It's F [E] sharp down to B.
You've got to practice that.
[G] Okay, but anyways, yeah, one more time for the second part.
It [F#] goes D, A, F [E] sharp, E, and then octave above E, F sharp, down to B.
Like that.
Okay?
[D] [Em] Practice that.
Once you get that, we'll have two chords here.
The two chords are [Bm] D major, which is, [D] let me see.
So D, F sharp, A.
[F#] Second chord is first inversion of [A] A major, which is C sharp, E, A.
Alright, so these two [D] chords in mind, so D major [A] and first inversion A [E] major,
the two ends together, it goes like this.
[D] So it goes together,
[F#m] [A] after E, chord by itself.
[Em] You can do it an octave above for [D] the left hand, so it's together.
[A]
[C#m] Yeah, it's up to you.
It doesn't [D] matter.
You can do it here.
[A] [E] Okay, same thing anyway.
Okay, up to you.
Whichever feels more comfortable to you.
Okay, so the [D] rhythm goes like this.
It goes 1, 2, [A]
3, [E] 4.
Like that.
Okay, one more time [D] slowly.
It goes 1, 2, [A] 3, [E] 4.
Like that.
That's it.
Okay, so back to [Em] back, the two parts of learning this lesson
would be played like this.
Check it out.
It goes,
[D] [C#m] [G] [Em] [D]
[C#m] et cetera.
[E] Awesome stuff, [N] okay?
