Hello guys, this is Amosdollmusic, and in today's lesson, I'm going to teach you how to play
Star Wars Duel of Fates, okay?
Really awesome.
[B] Three particular sections to learn.
All three are very awesome, okay?
The [N] first section is that intro to it.
Once you hear it, it's like, oh, it's definitely Duel of Fates, okay?
Give you a preview of all three sections.
The first section, the intro section, goes like this.
[Gm]
[Bm]
[Em]
[Fm]
Okay, and then the second section is [E] just the
[E] And then the third section is just this [D] part, okay?
It [E]
goes
[F#]
[C#]
[E] [C#]
[E] [D#] Yeah, [F] okay?
And obviously you can add extra stuff for that third section.
You can do like bass note to make it a bit less boring.
[Em]
[F#]
[E]
Yeah, or else you [A] can actually even do it [Em] on [F#] the left hand as well.
But anyway, it's up to you.
Anyway, [B] let's go ahead and learn these three sections.
All three sections are awesome, okay?
So let's start with the intro section, [F#] my favorite section, okay?
It's just the right hand here, okay?
So it goes like this.
It goes G, B double note [G] for two times.
And then it [Em] goes A, B [A] double note.
And then [Bm] F sharp, B double note.
And then we have a triple note here played twice.
It goes G, B, E for two [Em] times.
And then a double note, A, F [F#m] sharp.
And then C, E flat double note [Fm] for two times.
And that's it for this first section.
Easy stuff.
Let's do it again, [E] okay?
It's a favorite section [F#] here.
So G, B for two [G] times, double note.
A, B double note.
[B] F sharp, [F#] B double note.
And then G, B, E triple note twice.
[Em] A, F sharp double note.
[D] C, E [Fm] flat double note twice.
Beautiful, okay?
So one last time, it just [G] goes
[B]
[Bm] [Em]
[C]
Awesome.
Okay?
Now, moving on.
The second section is really easy.
That motif, it's just five note [E] motif.
It goes G, A, G, F sharp, E, okay?
So you just
A, G, F sharp, E, like that.
So it's the first two notes are slower, the last three notes are faster.
It's like
You can play in this [B] octave, you can do it in this octave if you want.
You can do it with the other hand as well.
[Em]
[A]
[E] Yeah, it's good to practice [F] this.
It's kind of like training your fingers up [G] as well, okay?
Anyway, moving on to the third section, the
I guess the melody [E] section, okay?
It goes like this.
Okay, so we just learn the right hand first here.
It goes E, [G] F sharp, [D] G, A, down [B] to the lower B, [A] back up to [E] A, G, F sharp, E.
And then repeat this phrase again for [A] the second time.
[B] And then it changes, it goes D sharp, E, F [G] sharp, G, [A] down to A, and then more than an
octave, stretch up to B, [F#] A, G, F sharp, and then [C#] similar, D sharp, E, [G] F sharp, [A] G, down
to the A, but this time [G] change up to G, [B] F sharp, [D#m] E, D sharp.
And [A#] that's it for the third section for this melody, okay?
Okay, one [F#] more time, it goes like this.
So it goes
Particular melody played twice, it goes [G] E, F sharp, [B] G, A, down to B, [E] A, G, F sharp, E.
Repeat for the second [A] time.
[B] And it changes, D sharp, E, [D] F sharp, G, [B] A, up to B, [E] A, D, F sharp, D sharp, E, F sharp,
G, A, G, [D#] F sharp, E, D sharp.
That's it for the right hand.
[F] And left hand, what you can do, as I said before, you can either do [E] like just octave
E bass notes, [Em] or you can just do the
Like that.
So you can like
[A]
[B] That kind of thing, [G] so it's like
[A]
[E]
Okay, it will [G] be harder to actually combine with the left hand, so just go ahead and just
like practice the left hand by itself first, and then put in the right hand slowly, so
[A] [F#]
[A] [G] [A]
[G] [E] like
Yeah, that kind of thing, okay?
So it is a lot more [F] difficult, so just for you guys, I just
I can just start off with just doing just the bass notes, okay?
[G] If you can actually practice a lot with the
[E] Make this automated, okay?
[F] Which at the moment [Em] I couldn't do it, because I [F] haven't got it to an automated position.
And then also if you can practice the right hand melody like [E] really fluently, then you
can be able to actually play it all together at once.
But if you're just starting off the piano, it would be difficult because it's like
It already requires a lot of hand [C] coordination right there, [C#] okay?
Because two hands are doing two different things, okay?
Anyway, for me, I would actually like
If I didn't [B] really practice it as much, I would actually just do like octave and arpeggio
patterns, like I'd [Em] be like
[B] [Em]
Yeah, kind of do that thing, okay?
So yeah, so that's pretty much it, okay?
So just play around with it, okay?
Experiment which one fits you the [N] best, okay?
So practice the parts, all the sections separately, and then yeah, kind of like play around with it.
But anyway, obviously my first section is the favourite section, because [D] that's like
the very [G] iconic It's like
Oh, it must [B] be [Bm] that
The choir part.
[Em] The choir [D] awesomeness.
[F] Yeah, and [E] then just goes
[Em]
[E]
Yeah!
[F#] Okay, but anyways, so [N] play around with it.
It's a pretty awesome theme.

And then C, E flat double note [Fm] for two times. _
And that's it for this first section.
Easy stuff.
Let's do it again, [E] okay?
It's a favorite section [F#] here.
So G, B for two [G] times, double note.
_ _ A, B double note. _
[B] _ F sharp, [F#] B double note.
And then G, B, E triple note twice.
[Em] _ _ _ A, F sharp double note.
[D] _ C, E [Fm] flat double note twice.
_ _ Beautiful, okay?
So one last time, it just [G] _ goes_
_ _ _ [B] _ _
[Bm] _ _ _ _ _ _ [Em] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [C] _ _
_ _ _ Awesome.
Okay?
Now, moving on.
