Okay, here's a
Pretty fun riff.
I enjoy playing from the early 2000s.
It's obstacle one by interpol
It's really fun to play cuz it's it's kind of a building and just layering of a certain
power cord configuration here, but
It's just really fun.
So you can you just kind of keep the same configuration, but you're just kind of
Adding a finger here taking it away putting one back on and
Just really neat kind of fun riff to play
so basically you're making a
initially you're making a power cord you kind of have to make it a weird way because you're gonna be
removing some elements and I guess you could switch really quick, but I think it's easier just to
Keep it like this so you can just add a finger put it back
Remove one put it back instead of having to switch to different chord looks throughout the riff, but uh
[F] Anyway, so what I like to do is I start out with the pointer middle finger here on the eighth fret of the a and
Then put your pinky on the tenth fret of the D.
So you get this
F right here F power chord
And then while that's going on you're keeping your pointer finger on
[Bb] the
Seventh fret of the D right here
[Eb] [F]
So that you strum the initial power chord here strum that a few times
About seven eight right there
Six maybe try that
and then
lift your pinky up
So that you're now hitting this pointer finger that you have loaded up right here on the seventh of the D
So you're going
Just like that so you end up with that
Eight and seven chord right there eighth on the a seven on the D
Hit that three times
And then lift your middle finger up while keeping that pointer right there on the seventh of D [A] and
hit the open a
So you're going
[F]
[A]
And then basically just put your pinky back where it was
[Am] Hit that a few times
And
[C] then basically you start it all over so you're going
[F]
[A] [Am]
You
Just like [F]
[A] [F]
[A] [Am] [F]
[A] [F]
that
[A]
[F] Just like that and kind of a fun little
Layering of a chord there, and then basically over that there's another guitar part pretty simple.
It's just you're basically doing a hitting a
Tenth fret on the G and the B together
That's basically that you just another cart guitars doing that over that initial riff, so that's it obstacle one
Interpol have fun.
What a rip
