[B] Hey, what's up?
Just going to do a quick video tutorial of NDI Reeves' song Get It Together.
[Dm] It's pretty simple, the chords are pretty simple, but the timing is what's probably most challenging.
So I'm just going to go ahead and get started.
There are like three different parts.
So the first kind of main part, it starts with a D minor 7 chord.
And that is, if you don't know how to play D minor 7, you can just probably look it up.
But it's pretty simple.
Starts on the fifth fret of the A string, the root, and then it kind of goes like [E] that.
Alright, [D] so you go, you hit the [F] D, bounce off that up there.
So, [C] alright, [D]
[Am] [F]
so it's just a D minor [D] 7, but it's the way that they play it.
[Am]
[D] [Am]
[Dm] Then it goes to an A minor 7.
So it goes from here to [A] here.
[Am] Sorry, I don't want to flick anybody off.
[D] So it goes [Am] from
Then [E] it goes to an E minor 7.
[Bm]
[E] Alright, [F] so it's the same like you did [E] the D minor 7.
[D]
And then you go to like [F] you're playing like an [Am] F major 7, like that shape [Eb] there, but you
lift up your pinky and it's like an [D] F major 9.
[F]
[Am] [A] So
[E] Then you go to E [G] minor
[Am] You just kind of bounce your [C] pinky.
Alright, so real [D] slow.
[Am] [A]
[Am] [E] [Bm]
[F] [C]
[Em] Alright, so that's kind of like the [D] first part and that repeats like multiple times.
[Am]
[G] [F] [C]
[A] Okay, and then the next kind of change, it goes to an A minor 7, the same chord that we did before.
[Am]
And then [Bb] it goes to a B flat major chord.
So, [Am] [Bb]
alright.
[B] And then it goes to B minor
[E] [D] To E minor [B] 7.
To [Em] [F] that [C] same F major 7 chord.
Alright, so you [D] go
[F] [Am]
[E] [G]
[Am] And then it goes
[Bb]
[B] B minor.
[C]
[F] Alright.
[Am] Hopefully you can see that.
I'll do it [G] again.
[Am] [Bb]
[Em] [F]
[Am] And then he does this lick like
Right after that, so
[D] So, it was at A, back to the lower A, [E] and then [Am] E.
So A, A, E, [A] C.
[Am] [Bb]
[B] [G] [C] [Am]
[A] Kind of throws it in there, fairly simple, but you'll hear it, or you don't have to play that part.
You can just
[Bb]
[B] [E] [F] Just hang there.
[Gb] And then, slide to F sharp. [Gbm] Alright.
It looks [D] like a D over F sharp.
Kind of like that chord, but it's just here.
Alright.
F sharp.
And then you [E] slide
You slide that same [D] shape up, so
[E]
And then back [Am] to A minor.
[F] [E]
And then go up and grab that A.
Alright.
So, and I know I'm kind of explaining this kind of fast, because I hate watching like 30 minute videos.
But just kind of look up each chord if you need to, or send me a question if you have it.
Alright, so
And then the only other special is like a 2-5-1 and F.
[G] So it [Bb] goes
G minor.
C. E [Am] minor.
[G] [C]
[Abm] A [Gm] minor.
G minor [C] again.
[Am] [Gbm] [C]
And
One shot [D] through your heart and [Am] I'll fall.
[E] [G]
[F] [C] [D]
[A] [E] Alright.
[D]
[F] [Am] [C]
[Em] Alright.
So if you have any questions, send them to me.
I know I went through that really fast.
But it's kind of, this song is probably for somebody who already knows their chords.
And just kind of, it's more like a, to get the rhythm or whatever of it.
But if you have any questions, let me know.
Deuces.
