We are going to learn how to play the intro part for I'm yours by Jason Moran's

Let's do it alright, so originally the song I believe is played up [E] _ [B] right up here

[G#] With a [A] capo, [C] but for now we're just gonna learn it might be even higher
I'm not sure, but it's played with a capo up here, [G#] so [F#] we're just gonna [Gm] learn

[D] [N] Okay, so I'm gonna play the intro for you real quick so you can get the idea of what we're what we're trying to learn
All right, so here.
I'm gonna do little beats in between

So yeah, so that's the intro and how do we play it alright so
_ For this song you're gonna be plucking with your middle and ring finger [A] so
[Gm] Just [D] plucking [A#] when [Em] you pluck
_ _ You know [F#] when you when you [Em] pluck up on the strings _
You know you don't you don't pluck with your fingernails you pluck with you know try to pluck with the middle [B] parts [Em] of your fingertips
[C] You know really kind of dig [D#] your fingers in there for you [A] pluck them up
_ [E] All [N] right, so _ so how do we play all right, so try and get a good position here, so you can see so
_ _ _ _ All right, so all right, so we're gonna start with our ring finger
Pinky on the bottom two strings on the third fret okay
And we're gonna pluck and our middle is gonna pluck the second to bottom string and the rings gonna pluck the bottom Okay
so you're [Gm] gonna
_ _ So _ _ _ _ when you but when you pluck you're gonna slide up so you're gonna pluck
And then you're gonna [F] slide your these two fingers up two frets
_ _ So BAM BAM all the way to that next dot you might have on your guitar [Gm] so
So [A] _ _ _
[N] this might hurt your pinky and your ring finger if you're trying to do a guitar
It's a good good way to get them into shape [Gm] so
[A] So you do that slide up [E] you really want to when you slide up you want to really want that
[A] To ring out okay.
[Gm] You don't want to go _ all right

Yeah, you it's hard, but you know you really got to dig your fingers in [A] there and slide up
[E] So you do is you slide up, [A] _ _ and then [F#] you go back [C] down to where you were and pluck that just [Gm] once _ _ _
Okay, so the first part is [A] _ [E] _ _ okay?
Second part you slide up again
[A] Same thing, but when you go back down
You take your pinky off and you put your middle finger on the [E] string
_ [N] This string on the second fret bottom [D] string
_ Like that _ _ _ _ okay [G#] now after that you take your pointer finger and put [C#] it on the
third to bottom string second fret take your middle finger off you don't need that anymore _ [D] and
you pluck the
not the bottom string, but [D#] the
Third and second to bottom [D] string _ _ [A]
[Gm] pluck those guys, [D] and then you slide up two frets [Em] again

So now [E] we have slide up [A] _ [Gm] _ _ right there
slide up [A] again
middle [D] finger pinky off [C] put your pointer finger down take your middle off pluck the
Go up each a string [F#] with these two fingers

[N] Then you and then you put your middle finger down on the string above that
Take your ring finger off
So your middle fingers on the fifth fret
third to top string pointers on the
Third to [Em] bottom third fret _ _ like that guy [D] so good

And then you hammer down with your ring finger on the string right below your middle finger, so it goes
