How To Play - Taio Cruz - Dynamite (Piano Tutorial Lesson) chords
Start Jamming...
Hello guys, this is Amosdollmusic and in today's lesson, I'm going to teach you how to play
Dynamite by Teo Cruz.
So here we go, give you a preview of the two sections you're going to learn.
It's the main two sections that goes like [C#m] this.
[B] [E] [A]
[C#m] [B] [E]
[A] A repeated [C#m] section [B] and
[E] [A] [C#m] [B]
[E] [A] then the other section.
[C#m]
[B] [E] [A]
[C#m] [B] [E] [A]
[E] [A]
[C#m] [B] [E] [A]
[C#] Alright, let's [N] get right into it.
So melody and block chords, that's the foundation and then afterwards you can add your own improvisations
and decorations to give your own personal flair to it.
So let's start with the first section.
[E] So right hand starts on the G sharp up here, middle C, open off to C, up to the G sharp.
So it goes 4 G sharps, 1, 2, 3, 4, F sharp, E, F sharp, G sharp, down to [C#] B, C sharp.
That's it for the first [G#] part, for the first section.
So we'll break this section up into two parts, it's easier to learn.
Let's do it again, this goes 4 G sharps, [F#] F sharp, E, F [G#m] sharp, G sharp, down to B, [C#m] C sharp.
That's it for the right hand.
[N] That's it, we have four very important chords in this lesson.
These four chords are like the same four chords that's played in every single part in every
section of this lesson.
So master these four chords and it will save you a lot of time.
[C#m] Alright, so C sharp minor which is C sharp, B, G sharp.
Second [B] chord is B major which is B, G sharp, F sharp.
Third [E] chord is E major which is E, G sharp, B.
And fourth chord is [A] A major which is A, C sharp, E.
[C#m] So with these four chords in mind, so C [B] sharp minor, B [E] major, E [A] major and A major, chained
together, it goes like this.
So C sharp minor starts [C#m] off, right hand continues, third G sharp, B [B] major together, G [E] sharp and
chords together, C sharp and A [A] major together.
That's it for the [C#m] first part, alright let's do it again, it goes sharp, [B] together, [E] together,
[A] together.
Alright, moving on to the second part, right hand continues, it goes [G#m]
[C#m] E, F sharp, E, C sharp,
E, F sharp, E, C sharp.
That's it for the second part for the right hand.
Alright, let's do it again, it goes E, F sharp, E, C sharp, E, F sharp, E, C sharp.
That's it for the right hand.
Left hand, same four chords again as I said, that's why it's so important to learn those chords.
So C sharp [B] minor, B [E] major, E [A] major and A major.
There's always these [C#m] four chords in this particular order throughout the whole lesson.
Alright, chained together, it goes like this for the second part of this first section.
So right hand starts, [F#m] E and C [C#m] sharp minor together, C sharp and B major [B] together, E and
[E] E major together, C sharp and A [A] major together.
[C#m] Alright, let's do this again.
So it goes together, [B] together, [E] together, [A] together.
And that's it for [C#] the first section.
So you've played this section for two times, so let's just repeat it and just recap it
back to [C#m] back so you know what it is.
So it goes, [B] [E] [A]
[C#m] [B] [E]
[A] alright.
Now, [G#m] let's go ahead and move on to the second section.
So the second section is really simple.
So it goes [E] E, E, E, E, E, E, E, E, E, E, E.
Okay, so [D#] that's the first part of the second section.
Once again, we'll break it up to two parts, it's easier [E] to learn.
So this first part of the second section is simple.
It's literally 10 Es in a row.
So it goes 5 Es, 1, 2, 3, 4, [C#m] 5 and another 5.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
That's it for the right hand.
Left hand, as I said, same four chords again, so you know C sharp [B] minor, B [E] major, E [A] major
and A major.
You know very well from this whole lesson.
[G#] So, chained together, it goes like this.
So right hand starts with the [C#m] first two Es, third E and C sharp minor together.
[B] Together.
Or the fifth [E] E.
And then now, do the same pattern but with the different chords.
Together.
[A] Together.
Like that.
There [G] you go, that's the first part.
[C#m] One more time, it goes together, [B] together, [E] together, [A] together.
Alright, so that is the first part.
[C#m] Okay, one more time.
Together, [B] together, [E] together.
[A] Now moving [E] on, the second part goes E, E, E, [G#] E, D [C] sharp, E, [C#m] F sharp, G sharp, down to
B, C sharp.
That's it for the second part.
One more time, it goes E, E, E, [B] E, D sharp, [E] E, F sharp, G sharp, down to [C#m] B, C sharp.
That's it for the right hand.
Left hand, same four [B] chords again that [E] you know [A] of.
Two hands together for this [C#m] part.
It goes like this.
So right hand starts, third E and C sharp minor together.
D sharp and B [B] major together.
[F#] G sharp and E [E] major together.
C sharp and A major [A] together.
That one more [C#m] time, it goes together, [B] together, [E] together.
[A]
There you go.
[C#m] Alright, so back to back, this section too, it's played like this.
[B] [E]
[A] [C#m] [B] [E]
[A] And you play this section up two times, repeat.
[C#m]
[B] [E] [A]
[C#m] [B] [E] [A]
There you go.
So yeah, that's pretty much it.
[E] That's two sections you have to get and each section is played [N] two times each.
And yeah, so once you get the melody and chords all good, you can start to add your own improvisations.
So you can [C#] do more like octave [C#m] and like jumpy, like I guess [N] rhythmic patterns and arpeggios.
So you can do something like this.
And right hand, you can also harmonize based on the chords, make it thicker and texture
and more [C#m] epic.
So you can do something like.
[E]
[A] [C#m] [B] [E]
[A] [C#m] [B]
[E] [A] [C#m] [B]
[E] [A] [C#m] [E]
[A] [C#m]
[B] [E] [A] [C#m]
[B] [E] [A]
[C#m] [B] [E] [A]
[C#] Yeah, play around and have fun like it.
Okay, [N] so yeah, that's pretty much it.

_ _ [C#m] _ _ [B] _ _ [E] _ _
_ [A] _ _ alright.
Now, [G#m] let's go ahead and move on to the second section.
