How to Play "James Bond" TV Theme Song on Guitar chords
Start Jamming...
[Em] [B]
[C#] [D#]
[C] Here we are.
[Gm] I'm Thomas from Mahalo and we are doing James Bond theme.
What a great song.
Little [E] Spilo.
[F#]
[E] [G] [F#] [E] [N] It's pretty [D#] easy to play.
This first chord is a little difficult but I'm
going to show [Em] it to you, okay?
We're just going to use our index finger [E] all the way
on the [G] fifth fret.
We're going to start here on the D string, fifth fret.
Then we're going
to use our middle finger to [C#] press down sixth fret on the G string.
Then on the B [E] string,
we're going to use this finger hole on the fifth fret and then our pinky is going to
land on the seventh fret, [C#] okay?
That is our chord.
That leaves our ring finger to [E] land
all the way on this B string.
It's a little awkward stretch.
So I go.
[B]
[C#] [B] [C#]
So that's [N] the seventh
fret of the low E string.
So that's our beginning and then we go into these [Em] cool chords.
[C#m] [Em]
All
that is is an E minor which is [B] open, second fret, [Em] second fret, open, open, open.
Then
on the B string, I'm just [C] going up on the first fret [G] and then [A#m] up on the second fret.
[G#m] But I can't use that so I'm going to use my pinky to [Em] hit that second.
The bar chords are
awesome.
Then that [E] brings us to our [F#]
[E] [G] [F#]
[E] [G] [F#] [E]
second low E and then you're going to hit the [F#] second
[E] fret.
This time the third [G] fret.
[F#]
[N] So [F#] let's hear it.
[E] [G]
[F#] [E]
[G] [F#] [E]
[G] Then when you come down, this time go.
[F#] [F] [E]
[D#] [D] [B] [C]
That [Gm] is, [F#] [F] [E] once you come down, [D#] you're going to go.
[D]
This is on the [D#] D string.
First fret
on the [D] D string, open D string, [B] second fret on the A, [A] [B] open.
So all [F#] together.
[E]
[G] [F#] [E]
[G] [F#] [E]
[G] Going [F#] down.
[E] [D]
[B] All right.
So now we're [E] on the [D#]
[B] [G] [F#] [E] [C#]
[N] second fret [E] of the D string.
We're going to slide up to
the fifth.
[Em]
[Gm] [A#] Then we're going to skip [G#] string, go to the high B [D#] and go 4 [A#]-3.
[Em] Put that together.
[D#] [D]
[Gm] And go back to that fifth fret and then go 3-4 this time on the G string.
[B] [Em] [D#]
[B]
Remember this
formation because we're going to use that [E] sliding all the way up at the end.
But here
we [Gm] go.
[B]
So we're going to [N] do a hammer on and a pull off right here on the fifth fret [Gm] of
the D string.
I'm just picking it once [A] and hammering on the [G] seventh fret and just pulling
off while my finger is still on the fifth fret.
[Gm]
[A] And then we're going to slide down to
[F#] the fourth.
[Gm] [F#] That's all [G] in one take.
[F#] [C] Then [B]
second fret on the A.
[E]
On the [C#] D.
So [E] [Gm] you [B]
[E] [G] [B] [C#]
[D] [Gm] [F#] want to [B] pick
them all [E] [C#] just a little faster.
And then we [E] repeat.
[D#] [Gm] [B]
[G] [F#] [B]
Then this time instead of going.
[C#m]
[D#] [E] [B]
[E] [Gm]
[B] [Gm] [F#]
[E] [C#] [Em] [Gm]
[B] [Gm] [F#]
[B] [E] [C]
Then
we go.
[D#] [A#]
[A#] [A#m]
[B] We're repeating that three [E] times.
We're starting on the second fret [D#] [D] and then
[C#] [Gm] [A#]
[F] same thing you learned.
[Gm] Going [A#] all the way up to the eighth fret, seventh fret, sixth
fret.
Then go up to the end.
[A] [A#]
And [G#] then you end on the [Em] James Bond chord.
Ah.
An E minor
major 9.
I believe that's what it's [B] called.
We call it the James Bond chord.
But what
it is [E] is open E, [G] tenth fret, ninth fret, [B] eighth fret, seventh fret.
[E] Ah.
So beautiful.
And if you haven't hit this high E, that's fine.
That's [B] fine too.
Ah.
James Bond.
[Em] Alright.
Enjoy guys.
[E] [F#]
[E] [G] [F#]
[E]
[B] [C#m]
[A] [E]
[B]
[D] [G#] Bye.
[A] [F] [Dm]
