What's up guys, Brandon Slavinski here and this is your tutorial video for Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars.
Awesome tutorial [A] video.
So we're going to start off right up here.
We're going [Em] to just not even worry about the low E, we're not [A] going to worry about the
A, and then we're just going to do 7 and 9 with our index and pinky.
And then we're going to go down a half step, right?
So it's 7 and 9, [E] and then we're going to do 6 and 9.
[A]
Just like this, down strokes, [E] going between both strings, back and forth.
And then we're going to do [E] and 9, 6, [A] oh sorry, 7. So if it starts off We'll do it all, everything, on our [A] own. Sorry I keep on wanting to mess that up. That's funny. Again. We [E] don't need anything or [A] anyone if we lay here. So you can just do that through the whole song pretty much, right? [B] But instead I'm going to teach you kind of just a way for you to vamp the chords out, just play it, and just play it with [A] just chords, right? So all you're going to do, you're going to do an A, it's going to be mute, 0, 2, 2, 2, 0. So let's say that we're hitting a chorus and we want to go big. Then we're going to use the [Em] chords, right? But other than that, [A] you're going to use the picking part. So we're going to do an A, and [E] then an E, 0, 2, 2, 1, 0, 0. And then we're going to [D] do a D, [A] mute, 0, 0, 2, [D] 3, 2, and [A] then an A. So [G] let's say that we're doing the chorus. If I lay here. So the E. If I [E] just lay here. To the D. Would you [D] just lie with me and just forget the [A] world. A. And it holds on on the A, [G] if you're going to [A] repeat the chorus or whatever. And those are all the [G] parts that you need to know for this song. [A] Isn't that crazy? [E]

If I lay here. If we [E] just lay here. Would you [D] just lie with me and just forget the [A] world. And just like that, [N] you know all the chords and all the parts to be able to play the Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars. So be sure to check out the practice video and play along, and we will see you there. Peace. Hey, guys. Thank you so much for joining us today. Be sure to check out our other awesome tutorial videos.
