Right here's a little [D] lesson every rose has its thorn the first or the [G] two solos due to a good request so
Here we go the first solo
starts on
The 14 it's all kind of based on
[A] The [C#] e minor pentatonic scale [G]
and it starts off here on the 14 on the G string
Then the 15 on the B string and then he kind of goes up the scale
[A] [G]
[C] [G]
Then 15 down here
12 on the B string
The only note that's not in the pentatonic scale is this one on the 13 on the B string
Which is your flat 6 so [Gm]
all right so solo number 2
starts on
This 14 on the fourth string up the D string and then it's going to go to the 12 on the B string
[E] [G]
Then you get the flat
16 flat 13 6 all right anyway, and then
[N] It's like a country type thing bending on the 14
While [G] it's still bent you hit the 15
Then let the 14 down
It's like a pedal steel technique
Then down to the 12
Then you bend [Em] the 15
[B] [A] Now here's a tricky run.
He adds a couple notes [G] that aren't in the pentatonic
You got the the flat 6 here, and then you have a 2 back here or or a 9
[D] [A]
[G]
[D] Now this parts with the whammy bar
But I don't [E] have one on the this guitar so you can do it by [G] sliding into your notes.
It's gonna be 11
That's your second or your 9 so 11th fret
12th fret 14th fret
[D#] now.
Here's [Em] kind of like a country thing again on the two 15s down here on the bottom of the scale
[G] [F#]
[Cm] [G]
I'm just holding this one the whole time straight and bending the 15
Then that whammy bar less slide effect thing we're doing here
Now this is my favorite lick of the whole solo when I was 14
I just slaved over this I didn't learn it until I was like 24 so 10 years later
So it's using the two shapes of the pentatonic up here a little bit and putting them together
And it's something like this
starting on the 15 to the 17 and
[E] [G] then here's like a
Bluegrass type lick and then he does that again
[Em]
[G] so and then
Slide up to here, which is your root note, so that's the 20th fret on the B string.
It's a G
so that whole solo is
[C#m] [G]
[F#] [B]
[G]
[G#] [A]
[G#]
[G] Alright, so hopefully that helps you guys out
It's easier than me tabbing it out
so
Cool.
Thanks for the watching my videos.
