[E] All right.
We're going to get rolling.
So this is a Guitar Center Sessions event.
It is Guitar Center's music education program.
Features innovative discussions, little [Em] panel discussions,
hands-on training, or tips and tricks from our heroes.
It's our intent to inspire the aspiring musicians.
So welcome to Guitar Center Sessions.
Kenny Wentz-Shepard.
All [E] right.
Thank you.
[E] Thank [B] you.
[Bb] So what's up, dude?
So yeah, I just want to [Eb] thank all you guys for coming out
and thank the Guitar Center for putting this thing on,
and Fender sponsoring it, and [E] KLOS for promoting it,
letting all you guys know that we're doing this tonight.
I want to introduce my other half up here,
ladies and gentlemen.
I'm sure most of you probably know who he is,
but I just want to recognize him real quick.
On the lead vocals and rhythm guitar tonight's
Noah [N] Hunt from my band.
Thank you.
Thank you very much.
[Em] Flew all the way from Ohio to be with you guys today.
Better weather out here, too.
We're glad to have him here, and hope you guys enjoy yourselves.
So you want to kick it off?
You want to kick it off, do a song?
Yeah, we're going to do a, I don't
know if any of you guys are listening
to the radio this morning, but [E]
we
did a little [Em] duo version of a Muddy Waters song
called King B.
And Noah and I, that [E] song actually
has really cool history with the two of us
because one of the first times that Noah and I actually
got to jam together in his hometown in Cincinnati,
we went to this little small bar called Stanley's Pub
that Noah, before he joined my band, he and his band
used to play there all the time.
And it's a real cool, very quaint, little hole
in the wall kind of joint.
And [B] I was in Noah's stomping ground, so he's [Em] like, man,
I got to take you over to Stanley's, dude.
So we went and had this guy up there that was like these,
I think it was two [N] guys, and they were doing two guys
playing acoustic guitars.
And everybody wanted us to get up and play,
so we ended up getting up and playing.
And it was completely spontaneous.
We had never played that song together before that way.
And I think we would both agree that we really kind of brought
the house down.
It was very cool.
And so we had so much fun doing it, and it was so spontaneous,
and we had so much fun that we ended up integrating that
into the show.
And we've done it later on in the set for the past several months.
And so anyway, we kind of revisited the acoustic [E] version
of it this morning on the radio, and we're
going to do a little kind of turned down electric version
of it for you.
So [E] this is a rock and roll [N] version of Muddy Water's song. Ahem.
[E]
[Em] I'm a candy baby, buzzin' around your eye.
[E]
[A] I'm a candy baby, buzzin' [Am] around [E] your eye.
[B] Yes, I can make you honey, baby.
[A]
Just let me [E] come inside.
I'm a candy baby.
Don't you want to be my queen?
All right.
[A] I'm a candy baby.
Don't you want [E] to be my queen?
[B] Yes, I can make you honey, baby.
[A]
You're like the world [E] and you never see.
Somebody.

All right.
I'm a candy baby.
[B] Yes, I can buzz you better, baby.
[E]
[A] Then you'll run [Em] the man a [E] gun.
I'll put it through.
Whoa.
[Em]
