Chords for Free and Easy Guitar Lesson (Amazing Grace)

And so you'll have me with you during the week
So I'm gonna play Amazing Grace [E] for you.
Tilt this camera down.
I'm gonna play the chords first and then the melody after that now
As far as the chords are concerned we have the G major
[G]
middle finger first finger third finger _ C [C] major
_ _ [E] _ [C] _ _ _ _ [E] _
And [D] D major
_ all major chords
_ _ _ [Ab] [Gb] Now [G] as I'm playing the chord progression watch how [B] I'm strumming my wrist is loose
[G] I'm sweeping the strings
_ _ [Db] Not not jamming [A] them with the pick flat [Dm] and gripped in my hand [G] it's a nice loose loose motion
_ Now, okay.
Let's do the chords _ _ _ _ _ Amazing _ grace
[C] How sweet [G] the sound
That saved a [D] wretch like me _ _ [G] I _

[G] [E] At the end, but you can if you want to and [Fm] also as you keep watching this
[E] Pay attention to the strum pattern.
It's one two, and three _ _ _ _

Only [Abm] three beats because this is a
Three four song it has three beats per measure
now [Ab] for the the melody

_ [E] _ [Ab] _ _ _ [G] _ _ _
_ _ _ [Dm] _ _ _ _ [Bm] _

_ _ _ _ you [Am] don't have to do that at the [Abm] end of course, but and you [Ab] don't have to do this as well

As you get better at guitar and [Bb] as you continue playing you'll want to put those little flares in there to make it sound [Abm] better
I'll teach you some as we go along, but that's the that's amazing grace pay attention to the chords
The way you're strumming [Ab] the way you're picking
_ _ All the minor details are important so take it [Abm] slow take it easy
Don't get impatient with yourself, [E] and I won't either all right.
