[F#] Alrighty, we are on line one.
Let's go straight into it.
You can watch [B] the first time or you can play along.
[C] It's up to you.
One, two, three, four.
[Em] [Am]
[F] [C] Close your [G] eyes.
Think about your next chord.
[F] But I can't [Am]
help [F] falling [C] in love [G] with [C] you.
A little [F#] tip.
Anytime that you have A minor, make sure you play that with your middle finger.
Because after A minor we have [G] F chord.
So that way you're already ready for F chord.
If you're playing A minor with your index finger, then you're going to have to do a full switch.
And that will like kind of kill a little bit of time.
So if you're there with A minor middle finger, you can do it quickly.
Okay, the next two lines are exactly the same as the first two [C] lines.
So let's just go straight through them.
[Em] [Am]
[F] [C]
[G]
[F] [G] I can't [Am]
help [F] falling [C] in love with you.
If there's a [B] challenging part in this song, it's this next part.
But I'm going to do a simplified version for you.
So that you don't have to freak out.
Okay, so I'm going to only strum on [Em] the note and then [C#] switch.
And then [Em] switch.
So watch me do it.
[C] [B]
[Em] [B]
[G] If I were strumming throughout that part, I would have less time to switch over here.
But I'm enchanting you with my singing, right?
And while I'm doing that, I'm switching.
So it's kind of a sneaky way to buy yourself a [C#] little bit more time.
Okay, let's try that together.
One, two, ready, go.
[E] Like a river [C] flows slowly [B] to the [Em] sea.
Darling, so [B] I go.
Some things [E] [Dm] are meant to be.
[G]
[C#] Now if you want to add the fingerstyle pattern, you don't have to.
But if you want to, you want to get a little fancy.
[G] Or maybe once you've learned this and you want to take it to the next level.
Click this card so that you can do the fingerstyle pattern.
But it would sound [C] something like this.
[Em] [Am]
[F] [C]
[G] Totally [Bm] optional.
Alrighty, let's take it from the [B] top.
Take it from the top.
One, [B] two, ready, go.
Wide [Em]
[Am] hands in [F] only [C] fools [G] rush in.
[F] But [G] I can't [Am] help [F] falling [C] in love [G] with [C]
you.
Take [Em] my [Am] hand, [F] take my whole [C] life [G] too.
[F] Or I can't [Am]
help [F] falling [C] in love [G] with you.
[Em] Like [B] a river [C] flows slowly to the sea.
Darling, [B] so I go.
[Em] Some things [A] are [F] meant to [G] be.
Take [C]
[Em] my [Am] hand, [F] take my [C] whole life [G] too.
[F] Or I [G] [Am]
can't help [F] falling [C] in love [G] with you.
[F#] And that of course was a shorter version of the song.
But all the chords would be the same on the expanded version.
So this is just something that we can do to learn how to play this song entry level.
As always, thank you so much for watching.
