Start Jamming...
Hello guys, this is Amos Doll Music and in today's lesson, I'm going to teach you how
to play Dynamite by BTS.
So I'll be teaching you how to play the very catchy chorus section, the Dynamite section.
Very very catchy.
[C#m] It goes like this, let's give you a preview before we start learning it.
Check it out.
[F#m]
[A] [E] [C#m]
[F#m] [E] [C#m]
[F#m] [E] [C#m]
[F#m] [E] Yeah, that's it.
Okay, so you can add improvisations afterwards to make it more [C#m] catchy.
You can be like [F#m] [E] that kind of thing.
But anyway, we're going to learn the melody and block chords first because that's the
foundation and yeah, you can add extra stuff after you have mastered the melody and chords.
So here we go.
It's actually extremely simple.
All you need to learn is two parts because the first part, once you learn the first part,
you learn the second part and the fourth part.
So it's like first part, second part and fourth part is the same and then the third part is something different.
So that's why you only have to learn the first and the third part.
So here we go.
The first part, most important part, right hand starts with the E up here, it's middle
C, go up an octave C, it's the E up here.
So it goes [A] E up to C sharp, B, A, [G#] G sharp, [G#m] G sharp, F [E] sharp, E, E.
And that's it for the first part for the right hand.
Let's do it again.
It goes [A] E up to [G#m] C sharp, B, A, G sharp, G sharp, [C#m] F sharp, E, E.
That's it for the right hand.
Last time we have four chords here.
The four chords are C sharp minor which is C sharp, E, G sharp.
[G#] Second chord is [F#m] F sharp minor which is F sharp, A, C sharp.
Third chord is [C#m] A major with a B bass which is B, C [A] sharp, E, A.
There's a four note chord here.
And then the fourth chord is [E] E major which is E, G sharp, B.
With those four chords [C#m] in mind, so C sharp minor, [F#m] F sharp minor, [A] A major with B [E] bass
and E major.
So your hand together goes like this.
So right hand starts with the E, C sharp and C [C#m] sharp minor together.
After B, F sharp minor [F#m] by itself.
After F sharp, [A] chord by itself.
After E, E [E] major by itself.
And that's it for the first part.
Let's do it again.
[C#m] It goes together [F#m] here.
[A] [E]
Now that you have mastered the first part, you pretty much learnt three quarters of what
this lesson is about.
So yeah, the second part is exactly the same as the first part again.
So [C#m] just repeat.
[F#m] [A]
[E] Now, let's learn the third part now.
So the third part, right hand continues down to the B, [C#m] C [G#] sharp, E, F sharp, G [A] sharp, A,
G sharp, [E] A, B, B, B, B, B, G sharp.
Okay let's do it again.
It goes [C#m] B, C sharp, [G#] E, F sharp, [A] G sharp, A, G sharp, [E] A, B, B, B, B, B, G sharp.
That's it for the right hand.
Left hand we have the exact same four chords that we learnt from the first part.
So you know that [C#m] it's C [F#m] sharp minor, F sharp minor, and then the [A] A major with B bass [E] and E major.
[C#m] Alright, so with [F#m] those four [E] chords in mind, stand together, it goes like this.
So B and C sharp minor together.
[C#m] F sharp and F sharp [F#m] minor together.
B and [E] the chords together.
Fourth B and E major together.
That's it for this third part.
One more time.
[C#m] It goes together, [F#m] together,
[E] together, together.
Yeah, and now the fourth and last part is actually exactly the same as the first part
[C#m] that you learnt.
[F#m] [A] [E]
There you go.
We actually learnt the whole [C#m] chorus section already just like that.
So back to back, all four parts we've learnt in this lesson will be played like this.
Just remembering the fact that the first part is the same as the second and the fourth part.
So let's go right now.
[F#m] [E]
[C#m] [F#m] [A] [E]
[C#m] [F#m] [E]
[C#m] [F#m] [A]
[E] There you go.
So once you get [C#] the melody and chords all good, you can start to add your own improvisations.
You can do like rhythmic patterns on the left hand, like octave and arpeggios.
You can do like [F#] that [F#m]
[E] kind of thing.
And right hand can harmonize it based on the chords.
So you can do something like [C#m] this.
You can be like, [F#m] [A]
[E] [C#m] [F#] [A]
[E] [C#m] [F#m] [A]
[E] [C#m] [F#] [A]
[E] play around with it.
Very fun too.
