Okay, see first off right [Cm] at the back
I'm teaching this [B] as a super beginner song because that's kind of the way I see it
But having said that it's a classic rock [A] song that any [Em] level of guitar player would love to [A] have in their bag of tricks
So [B] it feels a little slow for you.
Well, I'll go ahead and tell you the chords you need right now
So if you're a little more advanced you got it
E minor [Em] and _ you're gonna [B] need it.
[A] We'll call it D
Six slash nine [Eb] with an F sharp in the bass [Gm] now don't get put off beginners [B] by that name because it's super easy
Let's go ahead and break down those chords.
We'll be using our two middle fingers
[C] _ [G] for this type of E minor and what we're gonna do is we're gonna [Bm] place those middle fingers on the second fret of both the
[E] A-string and the D string so you have something that sounds like this
[Em] _ _ _ _ E minor now to make this [B] other fancy [A] d6 slash 9 slash F sharp
[B] You're gonna take that middle finger [Gbm] just move it up a string [C] and take that [G] ring finger and move it down a [B] string _
_ _ _ Okay, [G] so we're gonna do now is we're gonna [Em] go one two, three four [B] one two
three four [Em] one two, [Bm] three four one two
Three [Em] four one two, three [Bm] four one two, three four
Alright, [B] the idea here is that we're just gonna be able to go back and forth [Em] on four counts one two, three four one
[D] _
Two three [G] four practice that so you can count out loud and feel [Ab] good with it because then we're gonna add the strum pattern [G] to it
Now the strum pattern is gonna [Em] go down down up [B] up down down down up
down [Em] down up [Bm] down down down
Down and [Eb]
this is um [Em] swingy.
So it's not down down _ _
