In this strumming pattern tutorial we'll be using two chords
an [Em] E minor shaped that way

and D6 9 shaped this way
So _ _ [C#] we're using the same two fingers to do both chords
with an E minor holding down the A and [Em] the D string at the second fret
and the D6 9 holding down the low E and the G string at the second fret

and then on down, up, up, down, up, down
