Hello and welcome to rockabilly [E] guitar lesson number 12.
This one's really cool
Kind of constructed a neat little solo.
It kind of [G#m] starts off with like the milk cow blues boogie
solo lick and
It's pretty fun.
And let me show you how you do it fast and we'll do it close up [E] and
Slow and then we'll do it note for note.
Alright, I'm pretty stoked about this.
I can't wait for everyone to dig into it
Let's do it
[A]
[D]
[C#m]
[Em] [E]
[F#] [A]
[D] [Am] [A]
[Em] [A]
[F] [F#m]
[D]
[C#m]
[G] [E] [A]
Nice
[Am] [E]
and slow
[F#m]
[F] [F#m]
[D]
[C#m]
[F#] [C#m]
[Em] [F#m]
Okay, let's talk you through this first part of the solo because that's going to be the hardest [F#] part
So [A]
this is kind of playing like an A chord
and [A#] on your D [F#m] string second fret to the fourth fret and
Then you're gonna go to your G string and [A] kind of playing your B also fretting on your second fret
Kind [E] of doing an A chord
[F#m] Got [E] [F#m]
[A] [E] that [F#m]
and [C#] then that's what we're gonna slide up to the on the G string to the sixth fret
[A] Then you just kind of repeat
[F#m]
[C#] And
Then what I do on that [B] when I repeat sometimes I just sixth fret in the G string fifth fret [C#m] on the B string
Gives it some more
[F#m]
[C#m] Okay, [F#m]
[A#] nice and [E] slow
[F#m]
[A] And [A#] what I like to do when I play that [A] I'm holding that a chord give it more power I'll just
Sometimes I'll just play them both
Kind of [E] play the play the D and the G string [F#m] together
[C#] Or play it singly
[E] [F#m]
Now [F] [F#m] [A]
let's [C#m] do that part after you do that
[F] [F#]
[E] Back on your D string [F] second [F#] third fourth [A] to the second on your B string pretty [F#m]
[A]
much all that is
[F] [F#m]
[A]
[F#] [A] [F] [F#] [A]
[F] [F#m] [A]
[E] [F#m]
[F#m]
[N] So then we're gonna slide up on your G string to the 11th fret on your B string to the 10th [F#m] fret
And [Em]
you were gonna [G#m] slide down the 9th fret on your G string to the 8th fret on the B [Em] string
[D] [Am] [C#m]
[F#m]
[A] [E] But
Slid down and then we're gonna slide again to the seventh fret barring [D]
the G and B string
[C#m] [D]
Okay [Em] [D]
seventh fret B and [E] E, excuse me B and A, G [D] and B
[C#m]
[N] And that's sixth fret on your G string and fifth fret on your B [C#m] string
[F#m]
[C#m] And you're just taking your finger and [F] on the B string you're gonna [F#] kind of
[C#m]
[C#] Put it on the seventh fret and pull it off, you [F#m] know
[C#m]
Then we're just basically [N] gonna go third fret to the fifth fret on your B [Em] string
Playing an open E
[B] [F#m]
[D] [C#m]
[F#m] [C#m] [G]
[A]
[Dm] [F#m] Okay,
[E] so
So then after you [D] do [Em] that
Just
[D] [Em]
third fret to fifth fret E string [E] open
Third fret to fifth on the B string
Then we're just gonna [N] bend on the G string
Fourth fret and we're gonna pinky is gonna
[Am] [D#] Pinky is gonna be on the fifth fret on your E string
[A]
[Bm] To the second fret on your G
[A]
Okay, [F#m] and then after you play that you're gonna go to your
D string and go to the fourth fret to the second fret on your G string
[E]
[A]
and then to the beginning again [F]
[F#] on your D [A] string second third fourth [F] fret
[F#] [A] And [E] [F] [F#]
[A] [E] [F#] [A]
[Em]
then it's [D#] done
[A] Nice [F] [A]
[E]
and slow again
Well,
[A]
[F] [F#] [A]
[F] [F#m] [Em]
[N]
