There's definitely an overdub with double drop D tuning and it sounds like a [C] strat going direct into the mixing console

We are using an effect
You might find in a studio an optical [Dm] compressor
The [Em] diamond compressor [Dm] has that nice squishiness [G] without sucking out the [Dm] life from your strings
And you could also tailor the sound with its seesaw tone control and for a vintage reverb tone
We're [C] using the hardwire supernatural set to the plate [F] mode
I have the liveliness [Dm] and mix backed off a little bit
