[G] I've kept saying the whole [C] week people are asking me like how you feeling [G] you're excited
It's like I don't know that's really set in [G] yet.
Obviously.
I'm excited and I'm pumped but like that was kind of the first
You know pulled in there and seen the name on it.
It's like oh, it's really happening and it's happening real soon
I'm Zach top and this is my Opry debut
[D]
[C]
[D] [C] [G] Hi, hi
[A] You sneaky sons a gun
[G] Hey, did you bring your [B] guitar?
Oh, I think so.
They got open mic here.
I
[E]
Grew up in eastern Washington a little town called Sunnyside
Dairy farm [Bm] town.
So I grew up on a farm and raised some cattle and rode horses all the time
We actually [D] had a family band for about
[G] Ten years I guess and played all the Grange Halls and open mics [F#] and bluegrass festivals
So we had a little [B] family bluegrass band
[D] I started playing guitar right before I [G] turned five and I've been singing [Bm] already in church before that
but I I think there's pictures of me when I was about [D] three years old with
Holding a right [G]-handed guitar backwards because I was left [Bm]-handed and wanting to look like George Strait
I had cowboy hat on shirt tucked in [D] everything
I wanted to be the next George Strait ever since I [G] can remember my heart was always in country from the [C] beginning the rest of
My siblings as well.
So a little [D] brother played mandolin
I [Em] have sisters a year and a half older [A] played fiddle and then my oldest sister played [C] bass
I can plunk around a little bit on a [D] mandolin and a banjo and don't [Em] put a fiddle in my hands though
That sounds like [A] dying cats
all my [Bm] heroes have played here and
You [D] know, hopefully one day getting [G] to step in the circle and do the same thing
they did I was a huge dream for me and
so [D] I'm just
Super honored so thankful for the opportunity.
I did not think it would come along [Bm] this this early on so I'm
[A] Beyond excited for it.
I don't need to talk.
I don't need [Em] no shame
[Am] Don't need to [E] dance
Or hear [A] what you think
All I need
To keep me from losing
Good cold [E] beer And
[A] Cold beer and country music
[D#m] [D] that is kind of funny story [F#] about that one.
I think the title speaks for itself for the most part
And there's no secrets there.
I produced sir Carson Chamberlain
He's kind of the guy that brought me to town [G] and helped me get this whole thing kicked off
[D] He called me and was like man.
[G] I got a title idea that we need to write [Bm] ASAP and
[G] Sound like okay.
All [D] right.
I'll do it.
He's like, all right.
So here it is cold beer [Bm] and country music
You're kidding [D] me and we knew pretty much when we were done with it.
It's like man
We [A] got something here
You can make that [G] the title of the album the [D] title of the tour stick it on hat stick it [A] on t-shirts
That just who doesn't [N] love cold beer and country music and he's making his grand Ole Opry debut.
Will you welcome Zach top?
I'm pumped.
I've got some family here a bunch of friends
I'm really excited for you know to be able to step on that
Historic [C#] and [A] storied stage and have them all here to support me and hope I don't forget words or forget [E] how to sing
[A] All I need
To keep me from losing it
Good cold beer
[E] and [A] country music
All I need to keep me from losing it
It's good cold [E] beer and [A] country music
All good country music
[F#m] [A]
[N]
And there is some great country [F] music the Opry debut Zach top everybody
