Hi everyone, [G] I just wanted to talk about Masterclass
The [B] Genesis of it [G] why I did such a thing
I am playing with some of [Bm] the best musicians in the whole world and when people experiences live
It is miraculous at least to all of us.
It's an amazing sound, but you never really [Bb] get to hear
Isolation of each instrument and the virtuosity of each players, so I wanted to give them all a chance to show
their personality
their true ability of playing and also be able to
Explain what the sounds that are making are [N] and the only way you can do [G] this
Is if you isolate them one at a time and it gives me great [Bb] pleasure to be [D] bringing it to you
[C] Plus I you know, they can teach everyone around the world
[Bb] Everybody can [Bm] learn including me.
I learned from all my musicians
It's made me a better composer
a better performer [G] a better everything we all learn from each other, [Bb] so
Masterclass is something that is going to continue and [G] hopefully will continue indefinitely
People like sample for example will keep reappearing
doing different parts because
Five minutes or less you cannot
Say everything you want to say about these kind of musicians.
So look forward to it
It's gonna keep coming now what I wanted to show you a little bit a lot of you are asking
Is why I have all these keyboards around this keyboards there
They all talk to each other for example, they [Bm] are
The programming for example, I have done all of it.
There is no
We don't use factory [Bb] programs.
Every little sound that you hear is I have made it
[G] Two months and program all these keyboards [Em] and
They are all identical.
There [B] are clones of each other.
We have [G] 50 of them
So just because I'm reaching over and I'm touching one keyboard.
It doesn't mean you're only hearing this keyboard you're hearing
Maybe five or six at the same time in this case is characteristic sound for [Am] example
[Em]
Right right here [Am]
which is [E] kind of characteristic of [G] my guitar sound so [Cm] hammered all smear [D] [Gb]
[D]
and
[Bb] this particular sound is created by
Four keyboards playing simultaneously just because I'm touching one of them
Don't think there's another [E] two or three [Bb] around me that are not playing at the same time
[G]
And because all the keyboards are identical, they're replaceable.
There's safety in numbers duplicity
[Gb] So minks keyboards [N] stations are identical to mine and any keyboard breaks to take any other one it can become
It can replace it instantly which
[Bb] Keeps us safe live just in case things happen in transportation [G] and so on
Each one of these [B] keyboards has to be [F] played differently depending on what sound [Bb] you're playing
For example, I just played the [Bm] guitar sound you played like a [G] guitar more if you want to go to a [N] harmonica sound
You use this band here
little controller and you go
[Bm] Up is [Am] vibrato down [Fm] is the pitch bend
[G] So [E] [Dm] [Bm]
you're [B] doing all that
The next thing [N] you do I have a controller as soon as I hit this button
All the keyboards change programs and they go [Bb] to preprogrammed places that [N] I have decided
Person and each one is the same thing with means keyboards being Freeman's [Ab] right here.
You you know him
[Fm] Say I want to play a song it's called that Coyote, you know
[Ab] The
[Ebm]
[D]
reason I'm bending [G] down is because this particular move comes from the shoulder
It's not the hands that's doing it.
It comes [N] the whole arm is going up and down.
It's one finger during the [Ebm] speed
And all the power comes from here.
So the [G] entire arm goes up and down
If you want to make it more [Bm] Asian you can go
[Em] It's a it's a really nice sound I enjoy it [Gm] very much [Bm] I
Can show you something for example?
from Santorini [C] I
Have a very powerful chord that I start with Santorini.
It's right here
What you are [Ab] hearing in this case, you're hearing about five keywords playing simultaneously
On the left hand on the low note.
There is the bass in it to [C] you listen to it
On the top note, there's the same bass on the fifth the middle note [G] there is no bass
Because if there was bass it would [Db] sound terrible, but you put it [C] all together
And you have a solid chord
[N] And then on the right side this particular keyboard now has become my [C] French horn and [F] [C] [F] [G] it's very sensitive [Eb] [Gm] so
[C] Anyway,
[F]
[Cm] [F] [C]
[Bb] [F] [Dm] [C]
I didn't [E] mean to play that
Just having fun
All [N] that is is
Choreographed and you have to maneuver like down here.
I have [C] a piano
so I can go and
[B] [A]
[N] This changes per song every song I hit this button and all of a sudden all the keyboards become something else [Bm] and they're talking
To something else even my [G] grand piano
Plays these keyboards
Anyway, and now for today I showed you enough I think
I'm just having a great time and I'm gonna keep master class going for years.
I love you all very much
Thank you [B] for taking the time to watch [Bb] this.
Take care
