[Am] [A] [G] Hi, [Bb] I'm Kevin Higgins with Alamo Music.
I'm going to be presenting to you today the Yamaha
Disclavier.
The Yamaha Disclavier is the world's most advanced player piano.
Now there are
several ways that you can use the Yamaha Disclavier in accessing content.
You have a [Cm] USB flash,
which you can download music from the internet.
You [C] have CDs, which you can buy and put into
the CD player on the Disclavier.
And then you also have a couple different [E] internet
[C] connections that you can use.
One is [Gm] the Disclavier radio, which has [C] 32 streaming radio stations.
And the second is [Cm] Disclavier TV, which actually has streaming [Am] audio and also video sync.
Now
the final way that you can use your Yamaha [G] Disclavier is to [C] do a recording, which you
can play back with video.
[Gm] So let's just go through some of the features step by step
[Bb] and show you how they work.
[Cm] When accessing the Disclavier's content, you have a couple
different options as to how you can [Bb] operate the system.
The first option is the remote
control.
The remote control has buttons that look just like a DVD player's buttons.
It's
easy to operate.
The second thing that you can use to access content on your Disclavier
is the [Ab] app.
So you have an iPhone, iPad app that you can [Bb] use and it mimics all of the
controls and buttons on the standard remote control.
One of the things that makes the
Yamaha Disclavier [Gm] unique from other player [B] pianos is the multiple types [Ab] of content that
you can get for the Disclavier.
The first is going to be [Bb] solo piano, and that's piano
only playback.
[Ebm]
[Eb] [Bb] [C] [Eb]
The second kind of content is [Bbm] ensemble orchestra playback.
This will
feature not only the solo piano performance, [Bb] but also instruments that are played through
the speakers in [Eb] the bottom of the piano.
[Fm] [Ab] [Bb] [Eb]
[Ab] [Bbm] The third and one of the most special types
of content is Disclavier radio.
Disclavier radio [Bb] has 32 streaming radio stations by genre.
They even have holiday stations.
You have jazz, classical.
There's a whole bunch of
content to choose from.
And as they add new content, they add it there automatically.

Probably the most amazing part of [Bb] the Yamaha Disclavier is Disclavier TV.
Now Disclavier
TV has two different functions.
It's for both entertainment, where you can see the performer
play as the keys are moving.
And that can be either on demand or it [Bb] can be live streaming
content from the internet as the performance is happening.
Now the other portion of that
is Disclavier Education [Bbm] Network.
Disclavier Education Network is used by schools and universities
to share master classes and to do [Eb] distance learning.
[Ab] [Gm]
[Cm] [Ab]
[Bb] [G] One of the other things that makes the Yamaha Disclavier so special and sets it apart [Bb] from
its competitors is the way that the actual recording takes place.
Yamaha uses fiber optics
underneath the key strip and grayscale technology to capture the exact movement of each part
of the piano.
So each movement that you see the piano make during playback is the exact
movement that the performer made when they played the [B] piece originally.

[A] [G] [Bb] Now that we've
shown [Bm] you some of the playback features of the [G] Yamaha Disclavier, [Gm] rest assured you're
getting one of the best acoustic pianos ever made.
Yamaha's been making acoustic pianos
for more than a hundred years.
That was the very first thing that they ever made and it's
their enduring passion [Bb] today.
As a matter of fact, the symbol that you see on [G] Yamaha
products is tuning forks for a piano.
So whether it's the touch, [Cm] the timbre, the tonality,
[Gm] or just the enjoyment that you [Bb] get from playing a fine piano, none of that will be lost on
this Yamaha [Bb] acoustic piano.
Again, my name's Kevin Higgins and I'm with Alamo Music.
I
want to thank you guys for taking a moment to watch our video.
