This is Mark with Chicago Music Exchange.
Today I have the pleasure of showcasing the Xotic XB-2 series.
I've got a six string, I've got a five string.
They both have gorgeous top woods.
This one happens to have a beautiful Bocote top.
The five string over here has a [F] nice maple with an ash body and then a maple back.
The six string has an ash body as well.
Both are super resonant.
[G] I mean, they just sustain for days.
[Eb] They both have the Xotic 3-band EQ with the mini toggle switches that switch the mids
and the treble.
They both have ebony fingerboards with the circular inlays and of course the glow in
the dark position markers up top here.
They both have Hipshot hardware.
They both sing, they both slay.
It's just, they're incredible craftsmanship.
Both by the master luthier over at Xotic in [Ab] California.
The six string has these [G] Kent Armstrong [E] soap bar pickups that sound incredible.
The five string, it's very similar.
It's the Xotic [Bb] JB Custom Series.
_ I'm really excited to showcase both of these.
I'm actually going to go through the different pickup options and preamp options on the five string.
I'll be showcasing them both through this Ashdown 515 combo.
I'm really excited about this one.
