[C] [F#] Hi, I'm Will Fly and in this video I'm going to demonstrate some simple [A] fingerpicking and
some simple chords.
I'm going to use the chords of C and G7 with just a hint of an F chord
and the tune that I'm going to play was written by Chico Marx of the Marx Brothers fame.
It's
called I'm Daffy Over You and it was played by him in 1930 in the film Animal Crackers.
It's a very simple piece and it goes like this.
[C]
[A] [G]

[C] There you are, I'm Daffy Over You.
[F#] I'm
going to play it again now but with some variations in the bass runs and some treble variations
just to show what you can do when you get away from the simple fingerpicking and the
simple chords and try and do things in a more complex way.
So here we [C] go.

Always around the chords of C and G7
[E] with just a hint of this F chord [F] here.
[C] C, F, [G] C, [C] G7 and C.
So it's not hard.
The hardest bit is the
right hand and that's the bit that you've got to work on because the chords are really quite
simple.
I'm actually playing a nice alternating bass [A] [Am]
[C] C chord on the G7 chord.
