[A] Balcony TV!
[E] Welcome thanks for tuning in to another Balcony TV Exeter with visitexeter.com. This morning, slightly chilly morning,
we are very happy to welcome Wildwood Kin again.
Guys, how you doing?
Hello!
Good, thank you.
Good to see you.
You okay?
Yeah, I'm fine.
Getting cold.
But I'm sweating, but it's fine.
Let's get warmed up.
What are you going to play for us?
I'm going to play an original song called Taking a Hold.
[D] [Eb] [Ebm] [Ab]
[Dbm] [Abm] [Ebm] [Ab] [Gb] [Abm] [Ebm] I'm out there within my cold heart of [Eb] stone,
burning fire shed up in my bones.
It's taking a hold and it won't let go.
A siren to teach what I don't yet know.
A siren to teach what I don't yet know.
Ooh, ooh, ooh, oh.
Ooh, [Gb] ooh, ooh, [Ab] oh.
[B] [Ab] Sing, sing while we [Abm] weary, light the [Db] fire,
feeling rising of [Ab] a feeling soul.

feeling rising [Abm] of a feeling soul.

Taking a hold and it won't let go, Taking a hold, taking a hold and it won't let go,
Sing, sing while you're weary taking a hold right in the fire and feeling, taking a hold,
Yeah, we're headlining that one, which we haven't really done before.
And a lot of support acts, sorry, support sets, but yeah, never proper headlines.
So that's mid-April, look out for that.
That's the only gig you think you're doing in the area?
Well, there is another one that you're not allowed to talk about.
We've got something on the 1st of April, which is sort of like what it's doing in Cornwall.
We're putting on a charity surf music festival there in the name of [Abm] mental health support.
So yeah, anyone who surfs and is into their music down in Cornwall, [G] please come down and support the cause,
because we'd love to [N] have you.
And then other than that, we've got some festivals booked for the summer, but some of them we can't talk about yet.
But they will be announced soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
It's just sort of reams of stuff happening, like I say.
Absolutely brilliant.
So wildworkin.com, [B] is that the best place [N] for people to find you?
Yeah, yeah, or through our Facebook page.
Can we expect more of the similar sort of material, quite bluesy?
Yeah, we've got a couple more sort of electric-y, a bit more bluesy sound.
I think having a great producer on board has really helped us to branch out with our instruments.
Yeah, she was talking about that last summer, so it makes a big difference.
[Abm] Yeah, shout out to Jamie [N] Evans, our amazing producer.
So yeah, he's helped us loads.
And we've got sort of, yeah, I think the album at the moment is looking pretty eclectic.
Yeah, a wide mix.
Awesome, can't wait.
When's the release date?
Sometime in the future.
Yeah, sorry, I won't pin you down to that.
Guys, thanks so much for joining us again.
[Dbm] Absolutely brilliant.
Look out for Wildwood Kin.
Are you going to come back and see us again?
Yeah, absolutely.
Awesome.
Wildwood Kin, check them out.
Just brilliant stuff.
[E] Thanks for watching.
Thanks to our venue, Sandlow Jones, and we'll see you next week.
Cheers.
