Hi [E]
[C] [E] [D]
[E] [F] [Bb]
guys and welcome to this easy lesson which is Where is the Love by The Black Eyed Peas.
This song is so easy to play you only need to learn 2 small parts.
So if you want to learn that, just keep on watching.
Now if I've made an original lesson or even a cover for this song, you can find it in the description box down below.
But for now, let me play a little part first and then I'll tell you exactly how to play it.
[F]
[E]
[C] [D]
[E] [F] [Bb]
[F] Ok, so before we begin, if the octaves are too hard for you, that's fine, you can just play it right here.
[E]
[C] [E] [D]
[E] [F] [Bb]
[F] Ok, that's fine as well, but if you can, play the octaves because it's cool.
Ok, so what we're going to do is we're playing F octave,
[C] C octave, [A] A octave, F [E] octave, E octave.
Ok, so like [F] this.
[C] [A] [F] [E]
Like that, ok.
Then C octave, E octave, F octave, D octave.
Ok, [C] so [E] [F] [D]
like that.
[F] So what we've got right now is this.
[C] [A] [F]
[E] [C] [E]
[F] [D] [E] Like that, ok.
Then we get E [F] octave, F octave, [Bb]
B flat octave.
[E] Ok, [F] [Bb]
like that.
And then we get a low B flat octave and a higher B flat octave.
Low B flat octave, higher B flat octave.
Ok, like that.
[F] So,
[C] [A] [F] [E]
[C] [E] [F] [D]
[E] [F]
[Bb]
[E] just like [F] that, ok.
And once again, if you want to, you can just get rid of all the top notes and play it right here.
[E]
[F] [D]
[E] [F] [Bb]
[F] Like that, ok.
That's the first part you need to know.
Now let's move on to the second and final part.
And after you've got that, you know how to play the entire song, ok.
[C]
[Dm]
[Bb]
Ok, so all we're doing right here is playing some basic chords.
Four chords and we just play them right after each other.
And if you want to know more about playing chords in general,
[E] I've got my main chord lesson in the description box down below.
I will teach you how to play a song like this,
all of my easy lessons basically, in less than 10 minutes per song.
So make sure to check that out.
For now, the left hand is playing an F octave,
followed by an E octave,
[D] a D octave [Bb] and a B flat octave.
So Roland [F] plays A, C and F, ok.
[C] Then G, C, E,
[Dm] A, D, F
[Bb] and B flat, D, F.
So let's just play the chords [F] once.
[C]
[Dm]
[Bb]
Ok, just like that.
So we play all of the chords for four [F] counts.
One, two, three, four [C] and one, two, three, [Dm] four.
One, [D] two, three, [Bb] four and one, two, three, [F] four.
Just like that.
Now what I just showed you at the beginning of this slide is a regular pattern
of playing all of the chords four counts in the right hand.
[C]
You know, like that.
Ok, if you put in left as well, what you get is you [F] play them together,
right and then the just left thumb,
right, right, left thumb.
So together, right, left, right, right, left, ok.
Like that.
[C] Next chord together, right, left, right, right, left,
next [Dm] chord together, right, left, right, right, left
and the final [Bb] chord together, right, left, right, right, left.
[F]
[C]
[Dm]
[Bb]
[F] okay just like that if you want you can also play a little bit of a different
pattern like this
[C]
[F] okay which is together right left left right [C] left together right left left
right [Dm] left together right left
ok [Bb]
[F]
[C]
[Dm] [Bb]
[F]
let's see the one so [C]
you can pick whichever one you find [F] to be the best
now there's basically three ways to play this song okay you can either play the
thing we did in the beginning
you [E] [F] know that little thing you can play that just in the intro and then the rest
of the song is just going to be those four chords repeating or you could play
this thing the entire time because you can hear it throughout the entire song
or you could play this thing in the beginning and a little bit longer as you
can hear clearly in the song and then when you start to getting to the next
parts you will play the chords and then in the middle you simply go back to this again
[E]
ok so you basically alternate a little bit between that and then you could also
alternate with your patterns because you could for instance [F] do the four times
[C] that [F] thing you could do that a couple of times and then when you come back you
may want to switch to [C] that pattern okay so that's up to you but these are the
only two parts you need to know in order to play this song and now you know them
so all you got to do right now is give this video a thumbs up if you liked it
