[A] four chord and this sixth chord in the key of G.
[G] [C] [Em]
[C]
[Em] [C]
[G] [Bm]
[D] [G] [D]
[G] [C]
[G] [Em]
So let's add some stuff to that.
I was browsing through YouTube and this guy played
some chords that I really liked.
[Bm] Instead of doing this, [D]
[G] [D] [C] [G]
[C] he did this.
[D]
[G] [Bb] [Gb] [G]
[C]
So that was very nice [E] to me.
So I thought that I would break that down.
So let me play [G] that again.
[D]
[G] [Bb] [Gb] [G]
[Eb] [C]
So let's [Bm] simplify that.
So basically [D] I'm playing a D over G [G] flat to G.
And let's simplify that.
So we know the bass goes [Ab] like [Gb] this.
[F] [Db] [C] So [Cm] all we're going to do is [B] we're going to take away some voices [E] from that.
So we're going to go
like [D] this.
[G]
[Bb] [Ab] [G] [Eb]
[C] Real simple.
[Cm] Now that I played it like that, I took away a lot of the confusion in that.
So [Bb] we have a B flat over A [Ab] flat, a G flat over, excuse [Bb] me, B flat over [Ab] A flat, [Ebm] A flat over G flat
[G] and a G over F.
So [Bb] when we add the fluff to that, that's what we play on the right hand with all
the stuff on there.
So like this.
So I'm still playing the B flat.
I [Fm] just added that C in there.
So that would be the two or the [Bb] nine.
So it's the same chord.
It's just, [Ab] we're going to play
the same chord again, move down a whole [Gb] step.
It's the same chord, the same voicing.
It's just
transposed down one whole step.
So every note goes down a whole step.
And [G] then the next chord after
that is the same chord.
It's just every note goes down a half step.
And then we [Abm] play,
[Eb] you know, you can voice that however you want.
[Gm]
[F] [G] [C] And when you play the four chord, [G] if you do [Am] this [G] idea,
it makes [Am] it sound really [G] gospely.
[C]
So let's play around [G] with that.
[D] [C]
[Em] [D]
[C] [Bm] So let's play
around with that.
Let's [Bb] add some more gospely [G] stuff with that.
[C] So from the [Em] four, [D] [C] [B]
[G] so [B] yeah.
[Eb]
[B] So like [G] this.
[Em] [D]
[B] [G] [D]
[G] [C] So basically, [B] [F]
[E] four.
[C]
[B] [E] So let's play [G] around some [D] more.
The [G] four [Bm] to [Em] the six.
[C] [B] [G]
[F] So let's do this.
[C] [G]
[Em] [D]
[G] [C] [G]
[C] [D]
You can hang on that four all [Em] day.
[D]
[C] [G] [C]
[G] [Bm] So let's play around [F] some more.
[C] [G] [C]
[D] [G]
[C] [Dm]
[G] So let's do, we did,
[D]
[F] [C] and you can do this.
Let's [Eb] see.
[E] [Gb] [E]
[Am] [G] [Bm]
[C]
[Em] [Gb] [C]
[Em] [D]
[G] [D] [G]
[C] [B]
[G] [Em] [Eb] [D]
[E] [C]
[D] So go ahead, have fun with that.
Take all those chords and
add them to your arsenal.
Excuse me.
