Hey everybody, this is Bob from Music Store Live.
Today we're taking a look at a 1963 Fender Stratocaster.
This vintage [E] Strat is just about all original.
The only things on this guitar that are non-original are the frets.
It's just been recently refretted and they're brand new and in great shape.
[F#] [F] We have an aged bone nut that's been installed.
The original nut for the guitar is actually included in the sale.
The only other thing that may be non-original are some of the [G#] height screws for the saddle [C] pieces.
Not the saddles, the saddles themselves are original.
[F#] Otherwise, everything on this guitar is original.
The finish is original and untouched.
The pickups, the pickguard, all of the electronics are [F#] original and untouched.
The solder joints [N] haven't even been touched up over the years.
One thing I've got to tell you about this guitar is the neck feel on this is great.
This is a killer vintage Strat feel.
It's been worn in, obviously it's 50 years old, it's been worn in and played really well.
But it's not worn out, aside from being collectible.
It's a very playable vintage Strat.
So we're going to walk you through some sounds.
I'll start off with some clean sounds and then we'll do some overdriven [Em] sounds.

So I just brought the gain and the master volume on the Paul Reed Smith amp a little bit up
and increased the treble in the middle just a little bit to get a little bit more of that kind of Stevie Ray bite out of the amp.

You know, the guitar has been played, it's been worn down over the years.
It's still a killer playing Strat and it's still a highly collectible guitar.
1963, it's just about all original and this is definitely a vintage guitar that you can take out and play every day and really, really enjoy.
So thanks for taking a look at this 1963 Strat with us and we'll see you next time, alright?
